Grand problème

Bonjour, je suis nouveau usager d'Ubuntu, mais j'ai été sur le coup épris.
Comme tout début, des choses difficiles surgissent, çà et la...
Je ne peux pas faire updater mon Karmic Koala 9.10 depuis trois jours... J'ai cherché sur les forums, j'ai fait de mal en pire ... Le message que je recois, c'est invariablement

Tu sembles avoir des dépôts tiers (et peut-être non valides) dans tes sources logiciels.

Peux tu copier ici le contenu de ton fichier /etc/apt/sources.list ?

ALT+F2 puis :

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

ou si tu es sous Kubuntu :

kate /etc/apt/sources.list

entre autre la réponse à ta question wink

Il te manque, il me semble, qulques clés. Qid t'a donné un lien ou tout y est expliqué.

Je te conseille juste après avoir installé Ubuntu de suivre pas à pas: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/installation/p … redirect=1

Cher _Enchained , je vous demande pardon pour le retard de ma réponse, mais j'ai été vachement pris au boulot et j'ai pas eu le temps de continuer mon exploration. Mais aujourd'hui j'ai tout laissé de coté pour résoudre le problème. D'autant plus qu'au travail j'ai rasé le X P sur tous les ordinateurs pour faire place a UBUNTU qui est fascinant ... je dois pratiquer chez moi. Alors, ce qui en ressort, c'est:

Bonjour,

La dernière ligne de ton sources.list n'est pas bonne, édite-le et remplace la par:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/fta/ubuntu karmic main

Copie nous aussi le résultat de la commande, dans un terminal:

ls -R /etc/apt | grep .list

enfin pour les problème de clés tel que:

W: GPG error: http://akirad.cinelerra.org akirad-karmic Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY DB70C672B219D801

Qid t'as donné la réponse un peu plus haut.

Je m'excuse, mais comme je suis novice dans le domaine, j'ai besoin d'explications plus detailees j'ai peur que je ne vous enerve...
Alors, pour la premiere recommandation: j'ai rouvert gedit /etc/apt/sources.list mais hélas, l'édition est impossible ... On me dit que cela n'est pas permis. Ou exactement et comment puis-je faire cette édition?
Avec tout cela et cette histoire de clés obsolètes, serait-il mieux de réinstaller le système? Parce que, hors de ce que je vous ai dit, j'ai encore un problème, au démarrage, quand je dois choisir parmi les versions Ubuntu/Linux (?!) installées, les deux les plus nouvelles avec leurs "safe mode" ne se chargent pas du tout (kernel panic ... le clavier clignotant ...) . En plus, quand je suis sur ce forum, je ne peux pas former les caractères français (heureusement que j'ai installé la correction automatique et je sauve un peu de mon prestige de prof de FLE grièvement blessé par l'impossibilité d'utiliser Alt+0233 pour donner l'accent aigu etc ...) . Je m'excuse encore une fois, mais toutes ces questions proviennent du mon profond désir de mieux connaitre et comprendre ce système et de l'enseigner auprès de mes élèves ... qui sont nombreux, curieux et qui ont déjà très bien réagi a la nouveauté... Merci mille fois!

Pour editer le fichier, il faut faire:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Ce n'est absolument pas la peine, pour le moment de réinstaller, nous allons tenter de résoudre chacun de tes problèmes l'un après l'autre, avec les explications que tu jugeras nécessaires. Ce sera beaucoup plus instructif qu'une vulgaire réinstallation.

Non c'est bien là qu'il fallait la mettre.
On voit la  des dépôts qui ne répondent plus, nous allons donc les supprimer de la liste:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/akirad*

et 

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google*

Ensuite:

sudo apt-get update

que l'on puisse voir les erreurs qu'il reste.

et

Pourquoi ne pas mettre cette phrase en en-tête du forum, et éviter à de nombreux débutant de parcourir toutes les rubriques, à la recherche d'une réponse.

Je signalerais également que la documentation ne comporte pas toutes les réponses à toutes les questions. Et personnellement, si je connais la réponse d'une question, je la donne d'abord et ensuite je rajoute éventuellement "voir la documentation qui pourrai être plus complète que ma réponse.

Du reste, il suffit de cliquer sur le lien "Sujets sans réponses" pour étayer ce que je dis.

Si je n'ai pas envie de répondre, ou si je ne connais pas la réponse, je passe tout droit et je ne dis rien. Tout le monde connais ou a connu la touche F1 de Windows (Des tonnes de lignes de texte qui n'apportent pas de réponses. Un forum qui prétend aider les débutants se doit d'être au-dessus de ça et des réponses de ce genre.

Elle est déjà en tête du forum, avec des liens qui vont bien, malheureusement elle ne doit pas être assez visible.
