Dpkg est HS !

Bonjour à tous,

Depuis qques temps, mon gestionnaire de mise à jour est en vrac. Plusieurs message d'erreurs apparaissent sans que j'y trouve une solution viable. L'application de plusieurs solutions du forum ne fonctionnent pas.
J'ai bien essayé de changer "var/lib/dpkg/status" par le fichier "status-old" mais ce dernier n'existe pas !!

Je vous livre les messages d'erreurs du gestionnaire si ça cela inspire qq'un :

En complément de mon premier post, je dois avouer que j'ai un peu tout essayer... Y compris une mise à jour de source list avec le cdrom d'Hardy. Ceci explique peut être pourquoi il y a tant de références au cdrom !!

Enfin, pour compléter Michel, j'ai suivi les conseils de ton blog et voici les résultats de commandes :

C'est fait, mais c'est le même message qu'en début de post...

Je pense que le problème vient d'un problème d'accès au fichier /var/lib/dpkg/status....

Malheureusement, comme je l'ai dis, je ne parviens pas à ouvrir le fichier /status. De plus je n'ai pas de fichier /status-old...

Essaie ceci et dis si ça aide:

sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/status /var/lib/dpkg/status.bak
sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/status-old /var/lib/dpkg/status

ensuite réessaie:

sudo dpkg --configure --force-all -a

Et voici le réponse-console :

mv: ne peut évaluer `/var/lib/dpkg/status-old': Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
franck@franck:~$ sudo dpkg --configure --force-all -a
dpkg: la lecture du fichier « info » « /var/lib/dpkg/status » du paquet a échoué: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

Comme je l'ai supposé il semble que ce soit bien un pb d'accès au fichier (dpkg: la lecture du fichier « info » « /var/lib/dpkg/status » du paquet a échoué). Ce fichier est sans doute corrompu !

Y a t'il une méthode pour le remplacer ?

Google /var/lib/dpkg/status corrupted -> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=474587 qui dit qu'il y a des sauvegardes dans /var/backups/dpkg.status*

Oui en effet, je me suis poser la question de savoir si il s'agissait de ce type de fichier : "dpkg.status.6.gz" !!?? Mais si c'est le cas, comment s'en servir ?

Puis: gzip -cd /var/backups/dpkg.status.6.gz >/var/lib/dpkg/status
Et: chmod 0644 /var/lib/dpkg/status

hop hop !! On dirais que le statut du gestionnaire à changé !! Le sens interdit à fait place à une petite fléche "!" bien rassurante !!

Bon j'ai tenté  la commande suivante :

S'agit-il bien de la première virgule de la ligne 1 ?

(copie fichier /var/lib/dpkg/updates/0000)

Une idée peut être ?

Supprime tout ce que tu as dans /var/lib/dpkg/updates/* et refait la mise à jour.

Euh, tu peux etre plus précis ? Je supprime tous les fichiers (0000, 0001, etc.) ?

Oui, et sudo apt-get clean aussi (on ne sait jamais).

E: Le téléchargement de quelques fichiers d'index a échoué, ils ont été ignorés, ou les anciens ont été utilisés à la place.

Parallèlement j'ai effectué la mise à jour... Tout semblait bien se passer jusqu'au message suivant :

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.24-27-generic_2.6.24-27.67_i386.deb: la liste des fichiers pour le paquet « openoffice.org-java-common » contient un nom de fichier vide

Aaargh !!!

Essaie en retirant tous les dépôts backport pour voir
