Problèmes suite à une MàJ

Bonjour!
Je suis sous ubuntu 9.10 et, après une mise à jour la semaine dernière, j'ai plusieurs problème: mon ordi est très lent à démarrer et finit par m'afficher plusieurs messages d'erreurs avant de réussir (miraculeusement) à se lancer (à vrai dire, je pense que c'est de la que viennent mais autres problèmes...); j'ai perdu mon touchpad (j'ai un ordi portable Dell inspiron 1200) alors que je n'avais aucun problème avant; l'icône de connexion dans le tableau de bord supérieur a disparu, remplacé par un icône de volume inutilisable (je suppose qu'on s'en fiche mais bon x') ).
Internet est aussi très lent, mais je pense que c'est plutôt lié à la mise à jour précédente.
C'est la deuxième fois que j'ai des problèmes avec les mises à jour en à peine un mois sad
Voilà, si quelqu'un à un remède, je l'en remercie d'avance smile

Poste voir le résultat des commandes dmesg et sudo find /etc/apt -type f ainsi que le contenu de /etc/apt/sources.list et /var/log/messages

Pour /etc/apt/sources.list et /var/log/messages, alt+f2 -> gksudo nautilus

Si tu bootes depuis le livecd, tu as plein d'erreur remontées par ton cdrom, grave un autre cd. Si ce n'est pas le cas, retire le cd du lecteur si tu en as un. Si tu n'as pas de cd dans le lecteur, débranche le lecteur de cd si tu peux ou désactive-le dans le bios.
Tu as aussi apparemment une partition fat32 qui est corrompue. (à voir plus tard).
Ca peut également ne pas être un pb matériel mais un bug kernel, si tu bootes depuis ton disque dur, sélectionne au démarrage un noyau plus ancien (touche échappe au grub avant le démarrage de linux).

Reposte après le résultat de dmesg. Pour les premières lignes, ce n'est pas grave.

Pour /var/log/messages, il faut être root, donc depuis le nautilus ouvert par alt+f2 -> gksudo nautilus
Tu as un périphérique ata qui fonctionne en udma 33 et non pas en udma 100, rien de grave je suppose.
Le sources.list est correct, pas de repositories exotiques.
Pour ton lecteur de cd, si il ne fonctionne avec aucun noyau (essaie d'autres anciens livecd, tape dmesg et cherche des erreurs liés au cdrom), il est peut être défectueux. En tout cas, en l'ayant débranché, tu n'as plus les milliers d'erreurs qu'il levait.

En fait, pour /var/log/messages, le problème c'est:

gedit n'a pas été capable de détecter le codage des caractères.
Vérifiez que vous n'essayez pas d'ouvrir un fichier binaire.
Sélectionnez un codage des caractères dans le menu et réessayez.

J'ai bien sûr essayé de changer le codage, sans succès.
Par contre je peux ouvrir /var/log/messages.1...

Bon ben là tout est bien, correct. Ca doit bien fonctionner là, non smile

Essaie de réactiver ton lecteur de cdrom pour voir, si le pb revient, essaie depuis un autre OS (windows par exemple) si tu l'as et fait fonctionner ton lecteur de cd (copie le contenu d'un cd sur disque par exemple).
Si ça déconne avec linux et windows, il faudra abandonner ton lecteur de cd ou le changer.

Par contre, je suis toujours avec le noyau précédent, donc il faut que je reste avec ce noyau là jusqu'à ce qu'il y en ait un nouveau?

smile Non, tu sais maintenant que tu as une machine fonctionnelle sur le dernier kernel sans le lecteur de cdrom au moins.
Bon ben alors continue à booter sur l'ancien noyau, avec le cdrom si ça marche et sans sinon.
Ensuite, essaie si tu veux les prochains kernels si il y en a. Sinon, de toute manière, lucid lynx sort dans deux mois.
Poste le dmesg que tu as avec le noyau actuel si tu veux, j'y jetterai un coup d'oeil smile
Avec le /var/log/messages c'est mieux. Pas en entier le /var/log/messages, juste les messages du boot actuel. Tu peux repérer le dernier démarrage avec :
