[RESOLU] Pb Wifi Intel 5300agn sur Dell Precision M4400 (Lucid Lynx)

Je suis nouveau sur le forum... et je commence à me former sur la distribution Ubuntu surtout dans mon activité professionnel (Responsable Parc Micro-Informatique).

Actuellement, je travaille avec un Dell Precision M4400 et ma grande difficulté est la configuration de la carte WiFi !!!:mad::mad::mad:

J'ai effectué plusieurs désinstallation / réinstallation. Mis à jour les paquets / drivers.
J'ai suivi votre documentation et également les différents messages qui ressembleraient à mon anomalie.

Je vais continuer à chercher ce que j'ai loupé dans cette config avec un ingénieur R&D qui touche à Ubuntu ancienne version.

Ma version d'Ubuntu est la Lucid Lynx 10.04 version desktop 64.
Lors de l'installation d'Ubuntu, le voyant de ma carte Wifi Intel 5300agn est allumée. A la fin de l'installation, au ce dernier ne s'allume plus.
Le network-manager m'affiche la possibilité de me connecté par ethernet. Mais en mode sans fil, celui-ci est grisé.
J'ai également installé Wicd, et un autre... alors je vois du réseau WiFi mais impossible à configurer. Bref limite de prendre le PC et de le balancer car autour de moi, il y a pleins de box (Free, Wanadoo, HOTSPOT, le Neuf, etc.).

J'ai un problème similaire..

Ma carte fonctionne, mais a un rythme d'escargot, puis déconnexion.
Je peux me reconnecter toutes les 1-2 minutes ensuite..

Bonjour et merci pour vos réponses.

J'ai découvert hier le problème sur le portable. De plus, je n'avais pas précisé que j'avais installé Ubuntu avec le logiciel WUBI histoire de faire des tests avant de faire un vrai double boot.

Je l'ai trouvé et ce sur l'un des posts qui avait un problème.

En sommes le problème est lié que le portable Dell possède un bouton switch ON/OFF activant ou non la carte WiFi, Bluetooth et WWAN.
Lorsque le bouton WiFi est sur ON et que je démarre Ubuntu, mon îcone WiFi n'est pas allumé.

Par la commande suivante :

sudo ifconfig wlan up

Le voyant de ma carte WiFi se rallumait. Maintenant j'avais des informations. Bien entendu Network-Manager ne permettait pas de le configurer dans l'immédiat contrairement à WICD.

J'éteins ma machine, je désactive le WiFi par le bouton switch sur OFF et je redémarre Ubuntu.
Dès que j'arrive sur mon bureau, j'active le switch WiFi sur ON : network-manager redeviens opérationnel et je capte des réseaux WiFi.

Le problème est plus contourné que résolu mais bon elle fonctionne.

Même problème pour moi sur Dell 6500 et même palliatif pour le moment...
