pb noyau linux [RESOLU]

bonjour ,
je viens de mettre a jour mon noyau linux qui devrait etre maintenant le linux-headers-2.6.24-28.
Mais quand je fait un 'uname -r' il me renvoit '2.6.24-26-generic'.
pourtant voici ce que me donne 'apt-get remove linux':

Salut

Tout d'abord, tu dois démarrer sur ton nouveau noyau. Ça se choisit au Grub.

Ensuite, pour tes noyaux obsolètes, tu fais une recherche sur Synaptic, avec pour mots-clés les version des noyaux que tu veux désinstaller : 2.6.24-23, 2.6.24-24, 2.6.24-25, etc ...
Et tu désinstalles le tout (les linux-image-xxx, linux-headers-xxx et linux-restricted-modules-xxx)
NE DESINSTALLE PAS les méta-paquets linux-generic, linux-headers-generic et linux-image-generic

Et garde au moins les 2 plus récents, on sait jamais

salut
le pb n'ai pas de les supprimer (je connait la commande necessaire) mais de savoir quel ai le noyau que j'utilise car si c'est le linux-headers-2.6.24-26-generic comme semble m'indiquer mon terminal je vais faire une boulette si je le supprime.

Tu ne pourras pas supprimer un noyau en cours d'utilisation.
Il faut donc que tu redémarres sur ton noyau le plus récent, comme je t'ai dit plus haut.

autant pour moi
mais grub ne me propose pas le noyau linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-27-generic et le linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-28-generic alors que je les ai mis a jour.
pourquoi?
comment je dois faire pour ils appaaissent dans le menu de grub?

On va voir ça. Commence par faire en terminal :

sudo update-grub

puis montre le contenu du fichier /boot/grub/grub.cfg (entre deux balises "Code").

ok, tu es toujours sous Grub1. Tu n'as pas plusieurs installations de Linux sur ton disque dur ?
Alors montre le contenu du fichier menu.lst

non je n'ai qu'une seul installation de linux mais qui tourne en dual boot avec vista ce qui fais que grub n'ai pas dans le mbr.c'est easy bcd sous vista qui me lance grub(je ne sais pas si ca peux servir de savoir ca mais bon.

Il est en entier ? Il te manque pas une partie en bas ?
Parce qu'avec un menu.lst comme ça, Grub ne peut rien démarrer du tout

Je parlais du fichier menu.lst. On dirait qu'il manque une grosse partie à la fin.
il n'indique aucun noyau à charger, donc en l'état il ne peut rien démarrer du tout.
Au démarrage, après EasyBCD, tu arrives bien sur un menu avec écrit "GRUB" en haut ?

Bon, je ne sais pas pourquoi les nouveaux noyaux ne sont pas pris en compte, mais tu peux par exemple changer tous les "2.6.24-23-generic" en "2.6.24-28-generic", ça te permettra de démarrer sur le dernier installé.

Tu devrais aussi changer la ligne #howmany=1 en #howmany=all

Fais d'abord une sauvegarde de ton menu.lst.
Si ça "merde", depuis un LiveCD tu remets la sauvegarde à la place du menu.lst modifié

bon ca marche mais big pb de carte graphique.
impossible malgré l'installation des drivers de faire marcher ma nvidia
