Namoroka et Firefox

Bonjour a tous,

Je suis actuellement sous Namoroka. Si j'ai bien compris ce sont les pré-versions de Firefox 3.6. Je voudrai revenir à la version de Firefox standard. Comment faire en utilisant les dépôts ?

Je me permet de faire remonter le topic car suite à une mise à jour, je me retrouve avec Namoroka "à la place" de Firefox hmm .

C'est bien écrit que c'est une pré-release et l'entrée du menu des applications est passé en anglais (Namoroka Web Browser)...
Et l'icône n'est plus la même, il n'y a plus de firefox dessus hmm (beurk)

Pourquoi soudainement j'ai ça alors que c'est pas un truc récent ?

Peut-être as-tu un système en 64 bits, car il n'éxiste pas de firefox 64, par contre Namoroka éxiste en 32 & 64. Et  la 3.6.3 semble bien etre une préversion, car mozilla.org me dit de mettre à jour vers firefox 4.0.6 bétà.
De plus il n'éxiste pas de version finale de Namoroka pour l'instant.

Sinon pour installer/désinstaller utilise Synaptic sous ton GUI(gnome,kde,...) et recherche le paquet correspondant si il n'y a pas de paquet Namoroka mais firefox alors ma foi c'est que ubuntu en a fait son standard probablement.

Je l'ai en 64 bits sous win7 avec une version de Flash 64bits et pour l'instant je m'en plaind pas.

Non le packet s'appel Firefox et je suis en 32 bits.
Ceci dit, j'ai l'impression que c'est lié à Firefox4 beta que j'avais installer.
La mise à jour qui m'a fait apparaître namoroka est celle ou la mise à jour de firefox 4 à raté. J'ai désinstaller le packet correspondant mais à une autre mise à jour j'ai encore eu un message comme quoi firefox4 n'a pas pu se mettre à jour (pourtant désinstaller, en tout cas absent de synaptic).

Donc je comprend pas hmm

Si je suis le seul à avoir namoroka, ya bien un problème !

Salut !
Non tu n'est pas le seul, il y a environ une semaine ou deux j'avais installé la bêta de Firefox 4. Aujourd'hui j'ai décidé de faire des mises à jour. Après ça, je me suis retrouvé avec Namoroka. Selon certaines source, c'est le nom de code de Firefox 3.6 et c'est une pre-realese.

Pour un message que j'ai vu plus haut disant que Firefox n'existait pas en 64bits, il me semble que si, mais il est pas vieux. wink

Je pense que le nom et l'icône vont bientôt être réinitialisés (l'icône est la même que pour MineField (Firefox 4)), sinon il suffit de la changer. wink

À défaut de vouloir attendre ou bidouiller un petit peu, je pense que tu peux télécharger l'ancienne version sur le site officiel (http://www.mozilla-europe.org/fr/) et l'installer manuellement. C'est actuellement la version 3.6.10 au lieu de Namoroka (3.6.11pre).

P.S : Je suis sous 10.10, et il est à noter que Firefox 3.6.9 sera pré-installé dans cette version (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/maverick).

Ça ne me dérange pas spécialement d'avoir namoroka, tout est pareil à part l'icône et quelque bout de l'interface encore en Anglais (mise à jour des plugins par exemple).

Je me demandais surtout si je n'avais pas des problèmes avec les paquets. Apparemment peut être avec firefox 4 qui veut pas partir complétement mais je verrais plus tard.

si vous avez installé Firefox 4 beta via un ppa, je suis prêt à parier que ce ppa fournit aussi des mises à jours vers les versions de développement de la version stable, donc la suppression du ppa puis suppression/rajout de firefox via synaptics et ça devrait remarcher.

je confirme... le PPa de firefox 4. a aussi des mise a jour instable de 3.6

la stable sur lucid c'est 3.6.10 et avec les dêpot 3.6.11 ..

Je ne suis pas un geek ni un informaticien mais j'aime linux/ubuntu.
acer aspire5741G (unity 12.04))+une vieillebousse(xfce 12.04)
+teste de la version instable

C'est exactement ce que j'allai venir dire en regardant bien de quel dépôt venais les mises à jour de firefox 3.6 que je recevais !

La procédure que j'ai lu pour installer Firefox 4 ne précisais pas que j'allais passer sur la version instable de 3.6 !
Vu que je ne n'ai pas cherché à réfléchir en plus....

Je voulais préciser que j'ai d'abord télécharger une version en pre-version "3.6.10"- que j'ai découvert être la Namoroka- puis ai plus tard télécharger la version 4.0 bêta pour linux. J'ai pour cela suivi le tutoriel https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Firef … illaBuilds
Mais, revenant au fondamental 3.6.10 du canonical, quelle n'est pas ma surprise: impossible, même en supprimant les dépôts ppa d'ubuntuzilla, je retrouve (logithèque ou Synaptic) des versions -build (pour tous: Firefox, Seamonkey et Thunderbird- d'ailleurs, la dernière en préversion n'intègre pas du tout le "pack-fr").
comment faire pour les enlever des listes?
Par ailleurs si je télécharge 3.6.10 et que je l'extraie, je n'arrive pas à (faire) trouver le paquet et les apt-get install ne fonctionnent pas.
Des outils?

Supprime ce dépôt => ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-security/ppa/ubuntu/
sudo apt-get update
Désinstalle/réinstall firefox.

Tout à fait correct (sauf qu'il faudra que je fasse le ménage : trop de modules complémentaires, l'allure de Firefox! les lenteurs de la navigation!), même pour SeaMonkey et Thunderbird, toutes en versions antérieures.

tout simplement Firefox 3.6.10 pour système 64Bits et non firefox 64 ...
