Clé usb asus wl 167 g

Bonjour à tous,

C'est mon premier jour sous ubuntu

Il y a quelques temps déjà, j'ai acheté cette fameuse clé qui est dite "reconnue" sous linux, malheureusement je n'ai jamais réussi à la faire fonctionner.

Donc là j'essaie ubuntu, on m'a vanté qu'elle était vraiment bonne pour le wifi. Malheureusement ça ne fonctionne toujours pas.

Quels sont les démarches exactes à réaliser afin de faire fonctionner cette clé?

J'ai bien effectué des recherches mais les propositions faites ne fonctionnent jamais.

Voilà, je suis tout ouie pour faire fonctionner cette satanée clé soit disant compatible.

D'après ce qu'on peut lire, tu as une carte avec chipset NVIDIA :

NVIDIA Corporation
Télécharger le pilote http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

Je ne sais pas du tout si ce type de chipset est pris en charge par ndiswrapper, je te renvoie quand même sur la page du wiki qui concerne ce programme

J'espère que ça pourra t'aider, je ne suis pas trop connaisseur, mais c'est avec lui que j'ai pu émuler le pilote de ma clé wi-fi

J'ai appliqué ce tuto: http://wiki.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/wifi/rt2500usb

Mais je rame pour l'erreur, j'ai renommé et déplacé le dossier mais rien n'y fait, il y a toujours des erreurs. Tout se passe bien, à la commande make plus rien ne va.

Je vais refaire une tentative tout à l'heure pour copier coller tout les messages d'erreur éventuels et les transcrire ici si ça peut aider.

Est ce que quelqu'un qui a cette clé usb a déjà réussi à la faire fonctionner? Ca sera plus court je pense que d'essayer 2387 solutions qui ne fonctionnent pas.

Suis vraiment désespéré, à l'heure où tout se passe avec du wifi je trouve quand même dommage qu'il ne soit pas plus aisé de le faire fonctionner.

Je suis pas très connaisseur mais j'ai l'impression qu'avoir déplacé ton dossier ça a créé des erreurs, non ?

Si tu essayais de tout reprendre depuis le début ? perso j'ai dû recommencer deux trois fois en affinant (tu parles ) ma technique et c'est entré en ordre : ce matin j'ai configuré mon wfi en une demi--heure (et pas mal de fioritures encore ^^)

Encore un essai, un de plus.

Je te remercie mais ça doit faire un an et demi que j'essaie de faire tourner cette foutue clé usb sous linux, j'ai essayé plusieurs distributions, des dizaines de tutos en tout genre (si pas des centaines) et c'est toujours la même chose. Et partout je vois écrit que cette clé est faite pour linux, quand je pense que je l'ai acheté pour ça, ça me laisse un arrière goût d'arnaque.

Tester? J'ai déjà testé pas mal de trucs, j'ai essayé dans le dossier d'origine, toujours le même résultat.

Une demi heure pour configurer un wifi? Eh ben dis donc c'est encouragant ça.

Argh.. oui je comprends mieux que ce soit un rien décourageant.. j'ai un pote (celui qui m'a fait découvrir Kubuntu) qui n'a toujours pas pu configurer son wi-fi non plus.. évidemment c'est plus facile si tu as quelqu'un à côté de toi pour te donner un coup de main, plutôt que par forum, mais bon...

Au pire, vraiment, le dongle que j'utilise m'a coûté 12 € donc si tu veux épargner tes nerfs plutôt que ton porte-feuille... ^^

Il te propose d'ouvrir le dmesg ^^ tente toujours :

dmesg | tail -20

Ps : si tu as des listes aussi grosses à mettre, mets-les plutôt en quote, c'est plus facile à lire

Pour la liste, si si, mets tout mais au lieu de mettre [code ] [/ code] tu mets [ quote] [/ quote], c'est plus lisible tout simplement

Ben en fait c'est un paquet, make, qu'il faut d'abord installer via Adept ou Synaptic, c'est selon si tu es sous KDE ou Gnome, respectivement.

D'un autre côté s'il a lancé tout ça c'est qu'il doit être installé..
