Problème de connexion 3G avec Huawei E160E

Bonjour,

Voici mon petit problème:

- J'allume mon PC et je démarre sous Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits --> pas de réseau 3G.
- J'allume ou je redémarre mon PC sous Windows 7 Familial Premium 64 bits --> le réseau 3G fonctionne.
- Après avoir démarré sous Windows et avoir le réseau 3G, je redémarre le PC sous Ubuntu --> le réseau 3G fonctionne.

Pour info, mon modem 3G est un Huawei E160E USB et je suis abonné chez Mobistar en Belgique.

Pour résumer: il faut que je fasse fonctionner la connexion 3G sous Windows, puis redémarrer sous Ubuntu pour avoir le réseau 3G sous Ubuntu.

J'ai cherché un peu partout et je ne trouve pas la solution à mon problème.

Quelqu'un a-t-il une idée/solution?

J'ai oublié de préciser que quand je lance un "lsusb" dans un terminal, le modem est toujours là.

J'ai remarqué une chose:

Je démarre le PC sous Windows et quand je veux me connecter en 3G, il me demande le code PIN. Je le tape et je me connecte en 3G.

Si je redémarre le PC toujours sous Windows (sans l'éteindre donc), il ne me demande plus le code PIN et je sais toujours me connecter en 3G.

Serait-il possible que ce soit à cause de la demande du code PIN (pourtant renseigné dans "Connexion large bande" sous Ubuntu) que ça coince?

Pour que le modem apparaisse dans "Network Manager", il faut d'abord que je me connecte en 3G sous Windows. Puis redémarrer sous Ubuntu.

Quand j'allume le PC et que je démarre directement sous Ubuntu, rien. Pas de modem dans "Network Manager". Pourtant il apparait dans la liste des périphériques USB quand je fais un "lsusb".

Non, uniquement "Réseau filaire déconnecté".

Par contre, dans "Système\Préférences\Connexions réseau" onglet "Connexion mobile large bande", le ligne "Mobistar Internet Everywhere 1"  est bien là et quand je fais un double clic dessus, tous les paramètres sont bons.

C'est toi qui a rentré les paramètres ou bien tout a été automatique ?

Elle clignote verte ou bleue.

C'est moi qui ai entré les paramètres (comme sous Ubuntu 9.10 où je n'avais pas ce problème).

Qu'elle clignote bleue est une bonne chose.

Même si tu essayes de te connecter plusieurs fois, cela ne marche pas ? J'en avais une qui, pour faire la connexion, demandait plusieurs tentatives.

Edit : question bete : quand tu fais un clic droit sur NetworkManager, la ligne "Activer la connexion mobile à large bande" est bien cochée ?

Oui, bleu est "très bon signal". Vert, "bon signal".

J'ai essayé au moins 10 fois. Pas mieux sans passer par une connexion 3G d'abord sous Windows.

Ta réponse sous-entendait que lorsque tu démarres sous Windows, elle apparait,  mais pas lorsque tu démarres directement sous Ubuntu.

En tout cas, je l'avais compris comme cela.

Tu peux m'envoyer par mail, ton fichier /var/log/daemon.log ? Je suis chez Orange

Ma souris est en USB et elle fonctionne tout le temps!

Mes clés USB et disque-dur externe USB fonctionnent aussi tout le temps!

Même problème.

Et comme ce portable n'a que Ubuntu, je n'ai jamais réussi a faire fonctionner la 3G.
