J'ai un problème de démarrage lié à ma carte graphique faisant l'objet de la discussion : "Ubuntu 12.04 ne démarre plus suite à un problème de carte graphique" que j'ai posté hier à 20h56. J'ai constaté plus haut que le fichier   /etc/X11/xorg.conf n'existe pas sous ubuntu 12.04 (mon système).
Pour ce qui concerne le fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log je l'ai bien trouvé. Il est très long (plusieurs écrans)et le micro en panne ne démarrant plus, il n'est pas connecté. Je dois donc copier ce fichier sur une clé USB et l'insérer dans mon message à partir de l'ordi que j'utilise actuellement qui fonctionne sous Windows.
Ma question : quelle est la forme du chemin vers la clé USB a indiquer dans la commande cp?

J'ai pu résoudre un problème d'affichage d'écran en ouverture de ma session admin un peu grâce à à ce fil qui m'a aidé à "regarder" mes logs système.

J'ai un problème avec mon PC. je faisais la mise à jour et à la fin j'ai perdu les le lanceur, la barre de menu qui contient le calendrier, la date, le niveau de batterie etc..;. L'ordinateur est devenu presque inutilisable. Alors que peux je faire? Dois je tout formater et installer un nouveau système? J'utilise Ubuntu 12.04LTS.

un nouveau post spécifiquement dédié à ce problème serait tout indiqué.
sinon première chose à faire, connecte toi avec une session invitée : si celle ci est normale il faudra supprimer les paramètres personnalisés de ta session.

J'ai un problème de résolution d'affichage : la résolution habituelle (1920x1080) est passée depuis 15 jrs environ en 1024x768. Voir mon post que j'ai complété à 2 reprises. Comme dit dans le 2nd complément à mon post je continue à chercher une solution à ce problème, mais si un membre du forum a une ou des idées ... merci par avance !

J'ai un problème de résolution, l'image dépasse légèrement de mon écran (moins d'1cm de chaque cotés, à l'horizontale comme à la verticale).
J'ai essayé ce tuto http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/configurer_son_ecran_old mais ma version xubuntu (15.04) est trop récente et je n'ai pas de fichier xorg.conf
j'ai ensuite essayé celui-la http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/resolution_ecran_avance pour créer une résolution adaptée à mon écran mais à l'étape "xrandr --addmode" ça me répond "X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)"

voici les manipulations que j'ai effectuées:

dans un xorg.conf, c' est un virtual à ajouter

mais faut que tu ouvres une discussion avec un titre
