Problème disque dur externe en firewire.

Bonjour à tous,

Je possède un Barebone Soltek EQ3401, ainsi qu'un disque externe qui est USB2 et Firewire.

Je viens de passer de Breezy ou tout fonctionnait trés bien à Dapper, ou ce fameux disque ne fonctionne plus en Firewire.
Ce n'est pas la fin du monde, puisque en USB2 ca fonctionne, mais le Firewire, c'est tellement mieux!

Je remonterais la ref du chip Texas qui fait le pont IEEE1394 ce soir... ainsi que celle côté boitier externe.

branche ton disque, ouvres un terminal et tapes :

dmesg

juste pour voir ce qu'il te dit au branchement.

J'ai le type de controleur FireWire.
C'est un Texas FW323 1394A, je pense trés classique.

Pour le dmesg, il faudra attendre ce soir, que je rentre chez moi.

A la fin, on voit trés bien l'éjection de mon disque en USB2, monté en temps que SDA, et juste aprés, sa détection par le controleur ieee1394...

Mais pas de montage pour autant;'(

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/fw_disk

Pour le numéro de sda, c'est à toi de voir.

Ben non, y'a pas de mount qui tiennes,
Je n'ai pas de /dev/sdx ou /dev/sgx (comme c'était le cas avant) correspondant à ce périph.

Bon, j'ai du nouveau, mais c'est pas gagné.

Aprés pas mal de lecture j'ai installé gscanbus.
J'ai controlé la présence des bons modules, c'est ok!

je lance gscanbus, qui donne dans mon term:
