[resolu]plus de wifi depuis 11.04 sur ordi portable HP
bonjour, je viens d'installer 11.04 sur l'ordi de mon fils, depuis je n'ai plus accès au wifi, obligé de mettre l'ordi en cable ethernet.
J'ai installé wicd mais rien de plus

Ton Wifi est materiellement allumé au moins ?? désolé question bête mais necessaire, c'est du deja vu X fois.
Ensuite si oui, tu peux installer l'application Wifi Radar, elle a l'avantage de charger des modules supplementaires. Chez moi elle me permet une compatibilité wifi 802.11g (laptop) et 802.11b (livebox Inventel), c'est pour dire....

oui mais j'y suis arrivé enfin, j'ai supprimé tout ce qui correspondait a broadcom
rebooté, ensuite tout remis tout ce qui correspondait a broadcom 43XX
fait une mise à jour et hop c'est parti ca marche

Après moult bataillages sur mon vieux HP Pavilion dv5000, Ze solution simple, rapide et efficace que j'ai trouvée :
- Virer tout ce qui concerne du broadcom 43XX avec le gestionnaire de paquets
- Logithèque Ubuntu : installer firmware-b43-installer (j'ai aussi essayé un sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer mais ça me trouvait pas le paquet )
- redémarrer
Et là ô joie la loupiote du wifi s'allume, et ça marche nickel...
