Gnome Screensaver - Dossier d'images

Bonjour,

Je souhaite utiliser l'économiseur "Dossier d'images" de gnome screensaver. J'ai réussi à spécifier le dossier où l'économiseur cherche les images en modifiant la ligne "Exec=slideshow --location=Pictures" du fichier "/usr/share/gnome-screensaver/themes/personal-slideshow.desktop". À l'aperçu, l'économiseur charge bien les photos. Malheureusement, au lancement de l'économiseur, l'écran reste noir.
Pensez-vous qu'il s'agisse d'un problème de gnome screensaver ou de configuration de la carte graphique ?

Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

P.S. : En parcourant le forum, j'ai vu qu'il était conseillé d'utiliser glslideshow de xscreensaver, mais j'aimerais néanmoins utiliser l'économiseur précédent, qui me semble plus simple et moins gourmand en ressources.

Un redémarrage (?) a résolu le problème. Mais j'en ai maintenant un autre. La transition entre les images est très lente et fait monter la charge CPU à 100 %. J'ai pensé à un problème de carte graphique, mais j'ai l'impression d'avoir tout installé et je ne vois pas ce qui cloche. J'utilise le pilote libre Radeon pour mon ATI Radeon 8500. glxinfo me donne :

Et glxgears me donne environ 2700 fps avec la petite fenêtre par défaut, 260 fps en plein écran (1280 x 1024). Est-ce convenable ? Quoi qu'il en soit, l'économiseur rame.

nan c'est pas bon du tout.
j'en veux pour preuve 2 choses:
1- 2700fps c'est ridicule pour ta carte;
2- ces lignes là indiques que c'est pas ton pilotes ATI qui tourne

lexdu, doit-on obtenir ce que tu indiques même en utilisant le pilote libre Radeon ?

et y'a pas un pékin qui me corrige !! mad
ch'uis pas ridicule moi déjà lol

Alors je reprends: tu as une radeon8500 (j'avais lu 850 ... pas pareil !! tongue ) et tu as installé les pilotes radeon libres.

Donc en fait tout est normal pour toi:
- le message que j'avais soulevé (Tungsten Graphics, Mesa, tout ça smile )
- tes performances à glxgears


Toutes mes excuses pour ces quelques jours de frayeur smile
