Quelques soucis avec la résolution

Bonjour à tous!

Je suis tout nouveau sur ubuntu (j'ai voulu basculer de windows à mandradiva mais c'est aps stable du tout ) alors j'ai testé ubuntu et ya rien à dire, cette distribution est merveilleuse

J'ai quelques soucis avec l'affichage. Impossible de passer en 1280*1024. J'ai une Geforce 6600GT "asus" et un ecran 19" hp f1904. J'ai regardé un peu sur les post et j'ai fais quelques modifications du fichier xorg.conf.

Quand je regarde sur preferences -> résolution j'ai 640x480 / 800x600 / 1024x768 et uniquement en 60Hz

J'ai beau avoir cherché partout sur le forum, j'ai pas pas trouvé de solution à mon problème.

Je crois que les freq ne sont pas bonnes

essaye avec

HorizSync    30-82
    VertRefresh    56-76

Evidemment ces paramètres sont à manipuler avec grandes précautions.

Les chiffres que je t'ai indiqué viennent de la doc de l'écran que tu as cité, et est dispo ici

Peut être faut il également rajouter TOUT les modes de résolution de ton écran mais cela je n'en suis pas sur
