[réglé] Probleme proftpd .. pour ubuntu dapper 6.06.1 version server

Bonjour

J'ai voulu installer ISPConfig. Et ca m'a mis un message d erreur comme quoi il n'ya pas de ftp etc...

Donc voila j'ai voulu installer proftpd.

j'ai fait la commande magique : apt-get install proftpd
Voici le message d'erreur qui apparait :

root@ubuntu:~# apt-get install proftp
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package proftp

Je n'ai pas compris d'ou vient ce probleme ... Pourtant j'ai pu installer tous les autres packages depuis le net comme apache2 etc...

Je vous remercie de m'éclairer.

essaye cette commande:
$ sudo apt-get install proftpd

en effet j 'ai pas oublié le d final !!

excuse mais je tape vite !! lol

mais d hab je sais installer sans souci ..;

dc ca ne marche tjrs pas !!!

que ce soit en sudo apt-get install proftpd ou en tt que root : apt-get install proftpd !!

(ps : problème avec sources.list ???) pourtt j arrive à installer les autres packages !

ahah intéressant...

tu connais vsftp?
moi je le prefere, pour son mode de configuration,
plus a mon goût!

#installer
$ sudo apt-get install vsftp

je croix me rapeller qu'il desinstalle automatiquement le proftpd (s'il est prealablement installé )

Tu peux commencer par taper la commande :

apt-cache search proftp

pour savoir s'il trouve le paquet et si oui, tu auras le nom exact à taper dans ta commande d'installation. S'il ne trouve pas, c'est qu'il faut que tu modifie ta liste de sources en éditant le fichier /etc/apt/sources.lst
