Changer de pilote graphique avec une puce intel HD graphics

Bonjour,

Il y a quelques temps je postais un message expliquant que quand je lançait un de mes jeux (Minecraft en l’occurrence) mon interface graphique plantait. En étudiant le rapport de plantage fourni par le terminal au redémarrage, il s'avère que des gens plus compétents que moi on déduit que le problème venait des pilotes de ma puce intégrée a mon pc portable Acer Aspire 5742Z (Intel HD graphics)

Les pilotes ont changé une fois que j'ai mis a jour ubuntu de 10.10 vers 11.04, et donc il faudrait trouver un pilote plus ancien que celui que j'ai actuellement, si j'ai bien compris.

Mes questions sont donc; Comment savoir de quand date mon pilote, si il est libre ou non, comment le remplacer par un plus vieux?
Vais-je pouvoir rejouer a Minecraft sous Linux ? (forever alone.)
Aussi, je n'ai pas de fichier "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" comme cité ici, mais j'ai bien l'autre;

Le seul problème, c'est que quand je mets a jour et que je lance minecraft, l'interface graphique plante, les fenêtres disparaissent/ réapparaissent, et ainsi de suite... C'est d'ailleurs la source de mon problème ^^

Oui, c'est le fait de les mettre a jour qui m'a tout fait planter, la dernière fois... Ou alors savoir lequel c'est comme ça en cas de souci pouvoir enlever le récent et remettre celui qui marche ?

Sinon j'ai essayer de chercher de mon coté mais j'ai rien trouvé de très concluant a part downgrader vers la 10.10 big_smile

Bon, après avoir fait ça le jeu rame moins, mon pc force moins, donc cool.
Je voulais revenir sur Firefox pour poster ce message il y a cinq minutes (ça faisait plus de 30 minutes que je jouais), et au moment de l'écrire, l'interface graphique plante.
Ce qui est sur, c'est que je ne retournerais pas en arrière, le gain de perf' est énoooorme. Ctrl + Im écran + R E I S U P ne fait rien une fois que c'est buggé hmm

Si jamais vous avez du nouveau, tenez moi au courant, en attendant je fermerais Minecraft pour lire vos messages wink

Je le sais bien, sous Windows quand j'allumais Team Fortress au bout de cinq minutes mon pc atteignait les 80° (foutue ventilation ), température critique du bios.
Mais bon, j'ai acheté une tablette de refroidissement, donc le problème est réglé. Cela dit, moi je suis dans le sud et c'est vrai que l'aprème il fait encore chaud chez moi, on verra dans quelques semaines pour la température wink
Le bug est toujours là, mais un peu moins présent, maintenant il mets du temps a arriver...

Sorry pour le double post, mais bon, osef... J'ai mis a jour les PPAs, et le jeu ne voulait plus se lancer. Bon, j'ai fait un

sudo apt-get install ppa-purge

puis un

sudo ppa-purge xorg-edgers

et tout est redevenu ok. Mais bon, du coup c'est revenu au PPAs d'avant mon post du 22/09 hmm
Donc je m'en remets a vous pour vous demander si il était possible d'upgrader les PPAs mais pas pour la version actuelle... L'avant dernière, donc.

Il existe éventuellement un autre PPA, celui de oibaf je crois.
