écran de connexion=>blocage [apparemment résolu!]

Plantage fréquent sur l'écran du login: pas de son  et pointeur souris bloqué!!!
suis obligé de passer par une console pour rebooter ou fermer ubuntu lorsque le problème persiste.
Qui peut m'aider à résoudre ce problème.

Tu sais qu'avec la quantité d'infos que tu fournis, je pourrais te demander de vérifier si ta souris est bien branchée que je n'aurais pas l'air bête... ;-)
Quelle distribution ?
As-tu examiné les logs ?  dmesg, auth.log, faillog, syslog, Xorg.log , gdm.log ...

Je peux déjà te dire que je suis sur Ubuntu (Dapper 6-06), que j'ai fait un dual-boot avec Windows, avec un Kernel 2.6.15.23 (si je me souviens bien, car là je suis sur Windows). Je vais retourner sur ubuntu et te donner toutes les infos que tu demandes.
A plus et merci de te pencher sur mon problème. J'espère que je ne serais pas bloqué cette fois!

Je suis maintenant ur Ubuntu mais comment accède-t-on aux fichiers dont tu parles: J'ai oublié!!!

Bonjour,

C'est surtout le fichier Xorg.log qui devrait être riche d'information.
Regarde donc dans /var/log en tapant à la console : ls -l
Et peut-être que ce fichier log s'écrit Xorgn.log où n est un nombre

ça ne me dit rien, mais c'est peut-être une piste.  Maintenant, n'ayant jamais eu d'ATI et n'utilisant pas GNOME... il va falloir trouver quelqu'un qui en sait plus que moi (ça se trouve facilement wink )  En attendant, tu peux toujours essayer de voir ce qu'est ce module et de le reconfigurer.

Bon, ben je vois quelques trucs euh.... pas normaux mais pas forcément douteux.  Ch'uis pas spécialiste :-)

Parmi ceux-ci :

D'après http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/1/20/12 il n'yaurait pas de quoi s'inquièter.  Passons donc.

---> hda: set_drive_speed_status: status=0x58
D'après http://linuxfr.org/~flure/8858.html on peut imaginer que ton cable IDE est parasité.  Suis les instructions indiquées pour voir si le pb vient de là.

---> lp: driver loaded but no devices found
Vraissemblablement des difficultés à envisager pour imprimer sur le port parallèle ...

Dans synaptic, je ne trouve ni glx ni GLcore!!!
