Ati et compiz, encore une fois

Je n'ai toujours aucune bordures et barre à mes fenêtre.
J'ai une x1800, les derniers drivers (proprio : fglrx), l'accélération fonctionne bien (dri ok avec le module-restricted qu'il faut et le dernier xserver-xorg-fglrx), les effets fonctionnent très bien, je suis sous dapper amd64 optimisé k8, mais aucune bordure et donc inéficience de cgwd pour changer de thème et pas terrible pour bosser avec...

Dans un terminal :

Je lance compiz-manager, je désactive/active un plugin, tente de changer de thème et je quitte (retour metacity)...

Voilà, et ce depuis le début que j'ai installé compiz et suivit son évolution depuis début septembre.

Dans mon fichier log, j'ai aussi beaucoup de messages type :

No matching visual for __GLcontextMode with visual class = 1 (32774), nplanes = 24

Je pense que ça doit être lié, en recherchant sur le net, je suis tombé sur quelques pages où il est question de bug répertorié et surtout ici http://www.ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-193002.html où il est question d'un patch. Je ne sais pas si ça a été intégré à compiz, si je dois mettre une option en plus pour activer un je ne sais quoi, je suis perdu et j'attends vivement de l'aide pour passer ce problème
