Pilotes libres radeon et dual -screen?
Salut à tous, je vous explique...
J'ai une radeon 9250 avec les pilotes libres qui fonctionnent très bien.
La résolution de mon écran principal est de 1024x768, mais le secondaire ne supporte que le 800x600. Donc quand je l'allume j'ai bien un clone de mon bureau, mais je vous laisse imaginer la tête d'un affichage en 1024 sur un écran en 800...
En gros est-ce que je peux modifier la résolution de l'écran clone sachant qu'il n'est pas dans mon xorg.conf??

Le NEC FT500 de la section monitor est mon écran principal en 1024...

Salut, je pense que ton problème viens du fait que tu est en mode clone, donc copie à l'identique, tu devrais essayer de paramétrer ta deuxième sortie pour faire du "vrai" dual screen et du coup tu pourrais paramétrer ta résolution sur chaque écrans.

ou ils expliquent tout, je l'ais fais sur un portable nec m300 avec une ati m340 et ca marche bien, je suis en 1024*768 sur l'écran principal et en 1280*1024 sur l'écran secondaire.

mouarf, merci lululaglue mais mon écran secondaire a pas bougé... Par contre ton lien m'a permit de mieux comprendre comment était construit le xorg.conf... J'ai essayé plusieurs solutions à partir de l'article de rastageeks, remplacer complètement mon xorg, intégrer mon second écran avec les sections screen, device, monitor, mais il a rien voulu savoir... Je vais fouiner encore, merci à toi, ça me donne déjà des éléments
