ati mobility radeon 9700

# /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man /etc/X11/xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

glxinfo ensuite:

siddhartha@blackmamba:~$ glxinfo | grep direct
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
direct rendering: No
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect

(WW) fglrx(0): ***********************************************
(WW) fglrx(0): * DRI initialization failed! *
(WW) fglrx(0): * (maybe driver kernel module missing or bad) *
(WW) fglrx(0): * 2D acceleraton available (MMIO) *
(WW) fglrx(0): * no 3D acceleration available *
(WW) fglrx(0): ********************************************* *

As tu des infos ?

fglrx-kernel-source - ATI binary kernel module source
et selon votre kernel :
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-386 - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on 386
ou
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-generic - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on x86_64 generic

Re : ati mobility radeon 9700

siddhartha@blackmamba:~$ glxinfo |grep direct
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
direct rendering: Yes

fglrx-kernel-source - ATI binary kernel module source
et selon votre kernel :
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-386 - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on 386
ou
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-generic - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on x86_64 generic

Merci d'avance.

Re : ati mobility radeon 9700

J'ai une ati mobility radeon 9700
il faut suivre la doc :

sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx fglrx-control libqt3-mt
sudo aticonfig --initial

fglrx-kernel-source - ATI binary kernel module source
et selon votre kernel :
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-386 - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on 386
ou
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-generic - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on x86_64 generic

fglrx-kernel-source - ATI binary kernel module source
et selon votre kernel :
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-386 - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on 386
ou
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-generic - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on x86_64 generic

linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17-10-generic - Non-free Linux 2.6.17 modules on x86_64 generic

Re : ati mobility radeon 9700

Merci Astadiel.
