[résolu]plus d'écran login après install driver beta nvidia !

Bonjour,

Tout est dans le titre: après avoir installé le driver beta de nvidia pour pouvoir installer béryl, je n'arrive plus à avoir l'écran login !
Lorsque j'allume mon pc, je suis en mode terminal, et après avoir entré mes coordonnées, je dois taper la commande: startx pour que ma session se lance...ce n'est pas très esthétique... j'ai déjà essayé de réinstaller la version non beta des drivers mais rien n'y fait !

ps: Béryl fonctionne nikel chez moi(p4 512ram nvidia geforce 5700le) avec ce tuto : http://wiki.beryl-project.org/index.php … dgy/nVIDIA enjoy !

up : sudo aptitude reinstall gdm ne fonctione pas

et le bouton éteindre et rebooter n'est plus la !

As-tu suivi les infos venant de : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/applications/beryl
pour installer les drivers nvidia ?
Sinon, quelle méthode/tutoriel as-tu suivi ?

Aussi, peux-tu poster le contenu de /etc/X11/xorg.conf ?

une connaissance ayant pratiquement la même carte graphique a une installation nikelle !

D'après ce tuto, il faudrait plutôt avoir :

Donc ton option TripleBuffer ne serait pas à sa place...

As-tu essayé ?

Edit : je en suis pas chez moi là, donc j'ai bien peur de ne pas pouvoir t'aider plus pour l'instant...

j'ai désinstallé gdm, j'ai fais startx puis j'ai rebooté, ensuite j'ai réinstallé gdm, j'ai fait startx, j'ai rebooté et là pouf, tout est bien qui finit bien, tout rentre dans l'ordre et j'ai même récupéré mes boutons reboot et shutdown
