Limité 800x600 avec carte Matrox G400
Bonjour,
Je viens de passer de 6.06 à 6.10 avec une nouvelle installation (pas un upgrade), et je suis limité au niveau de ma résolution d'écran à 800x600. Problème que je n'avais pas sous 6.06 où j'étais en 1024x768. j'ai eu beau reconfigurer xorg avec dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, en précisant que j'ai 16Mo de ram video, rien n'y fait.
Je ne sais plus quoi faire !... sinon revenir à 6.06 mais ce serait dommage !

Peux-tu mettre une copie d'écran de ton xorg.conf ?

Pour mon cas il avait suffit de spécifier les fréquences horizontales et verticales de l'écran dans "xorg.conf"
C'est quoi ton écran ?

Ouhahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! ça marche.
aprés installation du package, effectivement je suis en 1024*768.
Par contre ce qui est bizarre c'est que dans les préférences je ne peux paramétrer que 800*600 et 640*480.

Super content d'avoir pu t'aider 
Pour ce qui est des préférences, je pense qu'un redémarrage plus tard (ou bien une fermeture + une ré-ouverture de session X) devrait résoudre le problème.
