GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
par
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi_osi=Linux"
* es-tu sous 11.10 ?
* ton UL30A présente-t-il de temps en temps le syndrome du "pointeur fou" ?

As tu bien lu le post ?
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi_osi=Linux"

* es-tu sous 11.10 ?
* ton UL30A présente-t-il de temps en temps le syndrome du "pointeur fou" ?

Re : [résolu]Asus-UL30A-13,3'':pavé tactile-désactivation:12.04LTS:ok
première interrogation, en reprenant la procédure :
Ubuntu 9.10 - Disable touchpad with Fn+F9
With default Ubuntu setup, touchpad may not be disabled with Fn+F9.
As suggested by Jacob (launchpad), it can be fixed as follows :
modify /etc/acpi/events/asus-touchpad, change line "event=hotkey (ATKD|HOTK) 0000006a" with "event=hotkey (ATKD|HOTK) 0000006b"
le fichier de mon pc :
# /etc/acpi/events/asus-touchpad
# This is called when the user presses the touchpad button and calls
# /etc/acpi/asus-touchpad.sh for further processing.
event=hotkey (ATKD|HOTK) (0000006[ab]|00000037)
action=/etc/acpi/asus-touchpad.sh

Ubuntu 9.10 - Disable touchpad with Fn+F9

As suggested by Jacob (launchpad), it can be fixed as follows :
modify /etc/acpi/events/asus-touchpad, change line "event=hotkey (ATKD|HOTK) 0000006a" with "event=hotkey (ATKD|HOTK) 0000006b"
backup /etc/acpi/asus-touchpad.sh,
modify /etc/acpi/asus-touchpad.sh content with Jacob's script :
[ -f /usr/share/acpi-support/state-funcs ] || exit 0
. /usr/share/acpi-support/power-funcs
# if this is the right behavior, then this should be moved out of acpi-support
# to hal (or whatever is replacing hal for such events)

# get the current state of the touchpad

#!/bin/sh
[ -f /usr/share/acpi-support/state-funcs ] || exit 0
. /usr/share/acpi-support/power-funcs
# if this is the right behavior, then this should be moved out of acpi-support

if [ $tpstate -eq 0 ]; then
xinput set-int-prop "$XINPUT" "Device Enabled" 8 1
else
xinput set-int-prop "$XINPUT" "Device Enabled" 8 0
fi
Merci d'avance.
Cordialement.

Re : [résolu]Asus-UL30A-13,3'':pavé tactile-désactivation:12.04LTS:ok
Alors faut mettre
XINPUT="ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"

mon nouveau grub :
GRUB_DEFAULT=0
#GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
GRUB_TIMEOUT=10
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i8042.nomux=1 acpi_osi=Linux acpi=off"

xinput set-int-prop "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad" "Device Enabled" 8 0
