[ATI] Bureau étendu TFT/TV impossible sous session Gnome !!

Après moulte temps en clone Desktop TFT/TV, j'ai décidé de passer en Horizontal Desktop entre mon CRT et ma TV.
J'ai procédé alors à la fameuse commande

aticonfig --dtop=horizontal --overlay-on=1

je redemarre mon serveur X (Ctrl + Alt + backspace) et je me retrouve à l'ecran de login avec la possibilité de passer mon curseur de mon ecran TFT à ma TV smile
"Mission accomplie !!" me dis-je !!! smile

Et ben non...

dès que je lance ma session Gnome, mon bureau est en single Desktop et ma TV affiche un fond bleu (le fond que j'ai défini par défaut sous gnome) mais point d'extended Desktop sad

Vraiment je ne comprend pas où ca coince !!!
Et je ne comprend pas pourquoi à l'ecran de login je suis bien en Extended Desktop et pas sous ma session Gnome sad

J'ai le même problème que toi sad en voulant faire un bureau étendu sur un écran branché sur la sortie VGA de mon portable voir ici

effectivement sad

du coup j'ai reconfiguré mon desktop en mode clone mais j'aimerai tout de même essayé de comprendre sad
