A propos armen, ton var est sur une partition à part (il devrait avec un SSD)? Car si c'est le cas, ureadahead ne fonctionne pas tel quelle, il faut lui apporter une modif. En même temps, pour être sur, poste ton boot.log pour voir.

Tu ne dois poster aucune image!

Tu ne dois pas les ouvrir mais les virer en faisant dans 1 terminal: sudo rm /var/lib/ureadahead/run.pack et sudo rm /var/lib/ureadahead/home.pack et ensuite rebooter 3 fois de suite à intervalle de 2 min. Et au 1er reboot attendre 1 peu et contrôler si les .pack sont à nouveau en place dans /var/lib/ureadahead/ c'est tout.

Ok, il a déjà pas mal d'erreurs comme tu peux le constater! Mais fais la même chose avec le fichier /var/log/syslog, fais 1 copier/coller du dernier boot (pas de tout le fichier) depuis la ligne qui commence la séquence du boot ex chez moi:

En fait je crois qu'il est inutile que tu postes ce que tu donnes BUM. Tu peux mettre ça dans un terminal :

service --status-all

Et nous copier/coller le résultat.

Non, mon /Var n'est pas sur une partition à part, j'ai /, /home et swap en ext4. Var est seulement un dossier.
Je fais la manip avec les fichiers cet AM car je ne peux pas éteindre l'ordi pour le moment je travaille dessus.

Ok pour /var, tu n'as donc qu'un SSD, c'est un ordi portable? Tu veux dires les fichiers .pack? As-tu une partition /ntfs pour window?

En fait il est très court car il a été archivé. Il faut donc poster le contenu du boot de ce matin qui se trouve dans /var/log/syslog.1 en faisant bien attention de copier/coller uniquement celui de ce matin car ce fichier contient plusieurs boots.

Tu remontes depuis la fin de ce fichier pour trouver la ligne du début du boot et tu copies le tout, c'est long, tu verras. Puis tu le postes ici en le mettant dans le 10ème petit symbole depuis la droite au-dessus du cadre où tu écris ton texte avant le poster sinon ça prend 3 pages.

Dans la liste des services upstart démarrés (ceux avec un '+'), seuls :

bluetooth
saned
nfs-kernel-server

peuvent être désactivés sans danger (il me semble).

A partir de l'interface de BUM (décocher si inutile, et appliquer) :
Bluetooth : Si tu n'utilise pas de machins Bluetooth avec ton ordi, pas besoin
saned : pareil si tu n'as pas de scanner
nfs-kernel-server : ça semble être un service de partages réseau : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/disque_reseau . Si tu ne l'utilise pas, tu peux le désactiver.

Ne cherches plus, quand j'ai vu la liste de services lancés au démarrage, c'est bubuntesque...

Si tu veux du vraiment rapide en xfce, la solution debian s'impose.
Si tu veux piloter un avion de chasse : debian-openbox ou crunchbang.

Tu peux aussi faire en sorte de ne pas starter cups (service imprimante) au démarrage car il prend du temps et on ne l'utilise pas à chaque session, pour la solution elle est ici:

Tu peux aussi lancer la connexion internet en parallèle au boot ce qui suivant les config peux faire gagner qqs secondes pas négligeable, la solution:

Virer network manager, n'est pas non plus un luxe.

P.S. @ Triangle, Debian en est encore en sysv init, pas un foudre de guerre question boot. On est d'accord qu'ubuntu all inclusive est un char mais optimisé c'est une autre musique. Je boot en 5.7s et avec debian wheezy c'était 30! A part ça, sympa ta signature. big_smile

Je n'ai presque rien compris à ce qu'il faut faire concrètement pour cups et la connexion internet en suivant les liens indiqués, dans le doute, ne voulant pas faire de conneries je m'abstiens.

Cela changerait il quelque chose d'installer le /var sur une partition à part?

Pour faire bref, tu vas niquer ton SSD en laissant /var (écritures constantes) dessus. Les SSD détestes les écritures qui les usent plus rapidement. Il faut donc éviter cela au max (les écritures)! Comment? Et bien en mettant /var sur un autre DD et vu que tu en as un je ne m'en priverais pas! J'ai un SSD 60 Go pour le système et un WD 640 Go pour /var et /home, ce qui fait que les écritures ne se pas sur le SSD. En plus d'après ce que je vois tu n'as aucune option dans ton /etc/fstab pour prevenir les écritures sur le SSD, fait un copier/coller de ce ficher, je te dirai quelles option mettre.

C'était probablement vrai il y a quelques années (d'autant plus avec certains contrôleurs pourris de jmicron), mais avec les ssd récents ce n'est plus très utile. Tant que les partitions sont alignées à l'installation (par défaut sous win vista/7 et ubuntu >= 10.10 je crois), l'essentiel est fait.

Je te remercie pour ton aide ô combien précieuse pour le novice que suis. J'étais à l'aise sous winchose mais je le connaissais depuis le DOS, mon rejet définitif de la chose vient plutôt d'un aspect idéologique me concernant, mais j'avoue cependant être satisfait d'avoir franchi ce pas. Les "probablement" et "je crois"...sont super à l'église le dimanche comme au temps où la terre était un plateau portée par une immense tortue et que Galileo à fini sur le bûcher pour avoir dit qu'elle est ronde!

Concrètement, mon SSD avec les mises en oeuvre qui sont préconisées fonctionne sans aucune baisse de rapidité ou autres défaillances, alors entre le "probablement" et je "crois", je préfère la modif de quelques fichiers (gratuit) qui dans le temps s'avèrent efficace, contrairement au reste. Mais si tu  prouves le contraire test sérieux à l'appui, je suis preneur. smile

Le contenu de ton fichier /etc/fstab qu'on voit dans le post #46 montre que tu as installé Ubuntu en mode EFI dans ton disque SSD. Pourrais-tu répondre à cette demande (pour qu'on puisse voir que ton SSD est bien partitionné en GPT et s'il n'y a pas d'anomalie) : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=614071

Oui j'ai lu dans la doc qu'il fallait installer en mode EFI car j'ai un bios EFI, sinon je n'ai rien qui se lançait, écran noir.

Je n'ai pas bien compris ce que tu me demandes de faire, la manip indiquée par le lien?

Ok, on va faire 3 changements dans ce fichier, le 1er est de d'ajouter à cette ligne: GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0 un # devant la ligne pour avoir accès au menu grub, ce qui peux s'avérer utile en cas de pépins le cas échéant, voici comment elle doit être:

#GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0

Le 2ème: Changement de la ligne: GRUB_TIMEOUT=10 en GRUB_TIMEOUT=3 ce qui va faire que le délais d'attente de grub avant le démarrage de l'os passe de 10s à 3s.

Pour se faire: gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub (ou ton éditeur de texte), puis tu effectues les changements et tu enregistres, ensuite tu ouvres un terminal et tu tapes: sudo update-grub ton password>enter et le changement est fait.

Pour ce faire, gksudo gedit /etc/fstab (ou ton éditeur de texte) tu modifies et tu enregistres le fichier. Après la modif de ces deux fichiers, tu reboot et tu ns dis comment ça fonctionne. smile
