Problème avec GeForce FX5200 [résolu]

Hello,

J'utilise depuis plusieurs mois Ubuntu.  Jusqu'à date, tout fonctionnait bien, jusqu'à temps que je remplace ma carte vidéo intégré SiS par une Asus V9520-X/TD GeForce FX5200.

Au démarrage, le serveur X refuse de démarrer.  Je me log donc en console pour installer les drivers nvidia comme indiqué dans le "ubuntu guide".  Le serveur X refuse toujours de démarrer.

Je décide donc de tout réinstaller.  Maintenant, X démarre et j'ai la possibilité de me loguer.  Le problème maintenant est que le système gèle une fois que je me suis identifié.  La fenêtre Ubuntu de Gnome (là où on voit où est rendu le démarrage de Gnome) s'affiche mais se bloque là.  Aucun icône s'affiche pour montrer qu'il y a un quelquonque chargement.  Le son sort sacadé et répété de mes haut parleurs.  Bref, il n'y a rien à faire pour le faire fonctionner sad.

sinon va voir ce post, il taite aussi de probleme de carte graphique, dont la tienne: http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=452

est tu sur d'avoir bien suivi le manuel non-officiel? il est très efficace parait-il..;)

J'ai réglé mon problème en upgradant en hoary.  En espérant qu'elle ne se casse pas trop jusqu'à sa release smile
