créer une image iso
bonjour,
j'aimerai créer une image iso de mon jeu ff7 car mon lecteur cd ne tourne pas assez vite
j'ai donc fait :
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=ff7.isosauf que après on me dit que ce n'est pas un fichier valable
merci de m'aider

Hello,
Tente en utilisant un programme avec interface graphique appropriée. Sous Brasero par exemple, je fais ça en choisissant "copie 1:1 du disque", avec pour destination "File image".
Bien entendu, les autres programmes de gravure, comme GnomeBaker ou K3B, disposent de fonctions similaires.

je l'ai fait avec gnomebaker
mais ça me fait :
readom: Success. Error on sector 12 not corrected. Total of 1 errors.et le fichier à l'arrivée est de 0 octets
et il ne se lance pas avec epsxe

et j'ai cela :

Dans le man mkisofs, l'option
-input-charset charset
Input charset that defines the characters used in local file‐
names. To get a list of valid charset names, call genisoimage
-input-charset help. To get a 1:1 mapping, you may use default
as charset name. The default initial values are cp437 on DOS-
based systems and iso8859-1 on all other systems. See the CHAR‐
ACTER SETS section below for more details.
Ton image iso a été générer sur divers systèmes, tente de forcer les options 1 à 1 avec cp437,utf-8, puis iso8859-1, iso8859-15, ....
Espérant solutionner ton pb!!!

j'ai regardé et enfaite j'ai l'inpression que j'ai un problème de compatibilité entre mon lecteur et linux
mais je voudrais en etre sur, car d'abord je voulais utiliser mandriva, oui honte à moi, et le lecteur dvd ne voulait pas faire l'installation
donc comment pourrais-je savoir si mon lecteur est effectivitement incompatible avec une basse unix???

Salut dob,
Si tu as 1 heure à perdre, télécharge une video de m* sur ton système Gnu/Linux, fais un :
dd if=/home/USER/ma_video.* of=/home/USER/ma_video.iso
wodim --scanbus
répére le dvd,
Puis tente cdrecord -v -eject dev=/dev/resultat wodim ma_video_converti.iso
En guise de test final. Une tentative de lecture avec le couteau suisse Mplayer ou autre.

As tu essayé de générer une iso qui ne contient pas de caractére "pourri" avec l'option :
-no-iso-translate Do not translate illegal ISO characters '~', '-' and '#' (violates ISO9660)
Si ton image iso est en utf-8, je ne sait vraiment pas, désolé

Aurais-tu un manque de permission sur cdrom?
la commande dd, tu la pratiques en simple utilisateur?
sudo dd if=/dev/cdrom of=ff7.iso
ou
créer ton utilisateur root et taper ta commande de départ.
sudo passwd root
su
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=ff7.iso
exit

Effectivement,
tente la manip de polat_stephane, ubuntu pas de root nativement contrairement à la mère des distro Debian (oui, je sais Slackware est toujours présentr, et reste à ce jour la doyenne des distros :-> )
