Kubuntu bloqué au démarrage

Salut à tous, je rencontre un problème avec Kubuntu Feisty sur mon ordi, il se lance au démarrage mais il se fige dés qu'apparaît le logo Kubuntu avec le curseur de progression
comment faire pour y remédier sans refaire une installe complète.

Essaie déjà de redémarrer en mode "Recovery" (2ème choix dans Grub, je crois). Puis note les messages d'erreur qui devraient s'afficher et donne les ici.

Peux-tu démarrer avec le LiveCd et récupérer sur ton disque le contenu de /boot/grub/menu.lst ?
Il faudra peut-être monter la partition correspondant à / pour y accéder, à moins qu'elle n'apparaisse sur le bureau en tant que /media/hdxy

Désolé, pas d'idée ... j'avais pensé à qqchose, mais ça n'apparait pas ici.

Peux-tu par contre essayer de booter sur l'ancien noyau (2.6.20-15), en normal ou en recovery ? (Peut-être un problème de mise à jour ?

Salut,

J'avais le même problème que toi lors de la sortie du noyau 2.6.20.16 (donc j'utilisais le 2.6.20.15) juste qu'à dernièrement la mise à jour du 2.6.20.16 et là plus de soucis de boot j'ai même le 2.6.20.16 lowlatency qui marche à la perfection.

Tu es sure que ton système est à jour ?

fais les mises à jour

sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude upgrade 
sudo aptitude dist-upgrade 
sudo deborphan | xargs apt-get remove --purge -uyv && sudo aptitude purge $(dpkg --get-selections | grep deinstall | awk '{print $1}')
sudo aptitude autoclean && sudo update-pciids && sudo update-usbids
