[Rch]Comment modifier la page multi-boot ?

Bonjour,
Etant débutant parmis les débutant sous Linux, je cherche à pouvoir modifier le premier écran, choix de l'os au démarrage pour afficher ou pas les choix, pendant x temps etc...

Je sais qu'il y'a quelques part sur ce site un lien vers un tuto mais je n'arrive pas à le retrouver...

En espérant avoir été assez clair ! Merci d'avance !!!

Ca dépend si tu utilises Grub ou Lilo.

en fait le fichier que tu cherches est certainement /boot/grub/menu.lst

C'est donc mon menu.lst.

Je voudrais donc qu'il soit hidden. Qu'il démarre WinXP par défaut, et que si j'appuye sur Echap, il ne me reste que le choix Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.20-16-generic.
J'ai bien compris pour le hidden... mais pour le reste ??? Puis-je tout simplement effacer les lignes proposant les autres choix ? Quel est celui qui va se lancer par défaut ? Est-ce chainloader    +1 ?

Je peux pas te dire pour ce que tu demande exactement. Celà dit, tu met un temps d'attente avant le démarrage de l'OS par défaut de 2 secondes (c'est mon cas), et en gros, il affiche la liste puis il démarre, si tu veux démarrer autre chose, tu as juste le temps de cliquer sur une flèche pour lui signaler que tu veux autre chose et ensuite tu as tout le temps de choisir tranquillement, sinon, il démarre l'OS par défaut.)

Pour ce qui est de démarrer windows XP par défaut, j'avais mis une idée, mais en parcourant le forum cet après midi, j'ai trouvé ce sujet : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=84367
En résumé, faut changer la valeur de "default"

Pour toi, si j'ai bien tout suivi, c'est donc

default  6
