@Wesch : Ben tes logs ne contiennent rien de passionnant, je ne sais pas trop d'où peut venir le problème, mais a priori aucun rapport avec Bumblebee, si ? Sinon, un log plus utile serait /var/log/Xorg.0.log

@paynssj4 : Euh la version indiquée c'est parce que j'ai jamais mis à jour cette partie de la doc, je viens de le faire, donc maintenant c'est 304.51, mais ça change rien car le problème vient de VirtualGL que je dois mettre à jour (et je ne peux pas t'envoyer les paquets par mails, c'est faire les paquets qui prend du temps, pas les mettre en ligne...).

@paynssj4 oui je le lance avec optirun par contre tu as quoi comme configuration pc ?moi avec ma gt 555m cuda 2g je n arrive pas à dépasser les 30fps et ca descend en dessous de 20 avec zelda twitlihgt par contre reste à 60 avec soulcalibur et aussi dans zelda ma petite carte en bas à droite es toujours brouillé pour la voir clair je dois l afficher et faire un zoom arrière à fond.

il y a des réglages dans l'émulateur à faire
j'ai un i5 avec gt 540m cuda 1go >_<,
le mieu c'est que je t'explique en mp(ce soir) ou poste sur le lien que j'avais cité à la page précédentes parce que ça va tourner en gros hors sujet ici(à mon avis) si je commence à t'expliquer les réglages pour grater des fps.

Oui, faites une discussion à part, et pour info avec ma G310M j'arrive à un nombre correct de FPS aussi, donc c'est clairement un problème de configuration.

Au passage, j'ai finalement mis à jour les paquets pour VirtualGL il y a une heure (c'était ça ou programmer le jeu de la vie en Python, et j'avais la flemme de réfléchir), ils devraient arriver dans la nuit sur la PPA développeurs, et donc si tout va bien demain dans la journée en mise à jour pour tout le monde.

Ben dans le Xorg.0.log le driver Intel dit que ton écran ne supporte pas plus que 1366x768. Donc soit c'est un bug du pilote, soit c'est un bug de l'écran. Tu as déjà réussi à avoir 1920x1080 ?

A vrai dire non, le pc est neuf et je n'ai jamais installé d'autre système. Je vais essayer de voire avec le distributeur si il ne s'est pas planté de dalle au montage ...

j'ai trouvé le modèle de la dalle dans les logs : LP156WH4-TLB1. Une petite recherche google me renvoie sur une résolution de 1366x768 ... pas de problèmes logiciels mais retour en SAV ...

Bonjour à tous!
Petit problème avec bumblebee sur mon Sony Vaio S13, avec une GT640m LE. L'install se passe bien, mais au moment de lancer minecraft, j'ai l'impression que même avec optirun je reste sur la Intel HD 4000 puisque je ne dépasse pas 30 FPS contre 120 sous win. Et lorsque je vais dans le panneau de configuration nvidia, l'écran détecté est en 640*480.

EDIT: après test, les fps sont plus stables sans optirun qu'avec, puisqu'en utilisant optirun j'ai des chutes régulières que je n'ai pas sans

Je voulais savoir, depuis quelques jours j'ai la possibilité de faire des mises à jours des drivers nvidia, avec la mise à jour d'un outil de configuration de la carte (jamais vu...). Est-ce risqué de l'installer, sachant que j'ai installé blumblebee, suicidaire, ou sans risque ? Si c'est dangereux, est-ce possible de désactiver les mises à jours des outils relatifs à la carte pour ne pas risquer de les installer sans faire exprès ?

@mangafan92 : Je ne sais pas, il peut y avoir plein d'explications, attendre le support officiel pour ce qui est des performances.

@tobiasBora : Tu peux faire une capture de ce fameux logiciel qui propose la mise à jour ? Sinon de manière générale les mises à jours "automatiques" faites par apt sont a priori sans danger, pour les autres c'est à voir au cas par cas.

Je m'adresse à vous car après de maintes tentatives, je n'arrive pas à faire fonctionner bumblebee avec ma carte Nvidia GT650M et ma carte Intel HD series 4000.

Pour information, je travaille sous backtrack 5 R3 qui se base sur Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

Sachez qu'avant de poster, j'ai suivi avec beaucoup d'application le tutoriel présent à la page 1 et que lgré l'aide associé et les manipulations à effectuer, je continue de rencontrer les trois problèmes suivants  :

1) Erreur drivers Intels :

Bumblebee dépanne bien mais chez moi ça a toujours été bancale et donc non exploitable sur mon pc de production ...

En fait si j'ai "peur" de l'installer c'est parce que dans le tuto il est écrit qu'il ne faut surtout pas installer à la main les drivers proposés par défaut par apt et qu'il faut laisser blumblebee le faire, c'est pour ça que je préfère demander confirmation avant d'installer des drivers non supportés par blumblebee !

@tobiasBora : Pas de problème, une fois en mise à jour ça fonctionne tout seul, donc là tu peux y aller sans soucis.

@dragao13 : When it's done. wink Plus sérieusement, on a aucune idée de ce qu'il reste encore à faire, et de toutes façons ça ne sera que pour nouveau. Donc pour nvidia, il va falloir attendre.

Bref, si tout va bien ce sera peut-être dans 13.04. Sinon, plutôt dans 13.10.

@zaxou78 : Si tu cherches un peu dans ce forum tu devrais trouver un message expliquant qu'on ne s'occupe pas de Backtrack ici pour plusieurs raisons, et je respecterais cela car ça fait partie de la charte du forum. De plus, 10.04 c'est une antiquité, pour moi c'est clairement antinomique avec Optimus.

Désolé je n'ai pas eu le courage de parcourir les 88 pages de ce fil de discussion.
Je n'arrivais pas à voir Gnome 3 avec sa barre latérale d'icônes alors j'ai un peu galéré jusqu'à ce que je lise la page consacrée à la carte graphique nVidia Optimus. Je confirme que mon portable Samsung 300E7A-S03FR entre dans la catégorie des "PC concernés"

Le paquet nvidia-experimental-310 est disponible dans les dépôts officiels de Ubuntu.
Y a t il un risque à le tester? Doit on désinstaller Bumblebee pour ça? Je suppose que oui. Si c'est la cas il n'est pas marqué comme incompatible avec les paquets de Bumblebee.

Autres questions. Y a-t-il un danger à utiliser les dépôts:

En fait là le problème vient du paquet bumblebee-nvidia qui dépend uniquement de nvidia-current, il faudrait autoriser nvidia-current-updates et nvidia-experimental. Je vais voir ce que je peux faire dans ce sens. Le problème de ce dernier c'est que j'ai l'impression qu'à chaque fois on aura le numéro de version dans le nom, ce qui va vite s'avérer très pénible. J'espère qu'ils feront un meta-package ou qu'ils changeront le nom...

Mais oui, en l'état actuel, tu ne peux pas avoir tout d'installé tout seul par défaut, il faudra forcer l'installation de bumblebee-nvidia sans vérification des dépendances, ou bien installer le driver experimental, et ne pas oublier de réparer les librairies (cf. le contenu du paquet bumblebee-nvidia sur GitHub, repo bumblebee-ppa, script postinst de bumblebee-nvidia).

Absolument aucun, note que le second contient également mesa mis à jour.

Je demandais ça, parce que la branche 310 du pilote Nvidia doit apporter le support d'Optimus; http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=n … px=MTE3MzY
Mais le pilote ne devrait pas fonctionner avant la mise à niveau vers RandR 1.4.
