Installation impossible Quantal 12.10 sur portable HP Pavillon G6

Bonjour à tous,
les choses ne s'arrangent pas avec Ubuntu 12.10 (http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1041291). Après appui sur une touche (pour ne pas passer en écran noir) et avoir choisi nomodeset, l'écran défile des lignes de commandes et se bloque en finale sur:

Que faire pour installer ?

PS Le même CD-ROM a installé Quantal sans problème sur un Desktop.

Je précise que l'affichage graphique est certainement en cause comme auparavant pour 12.04.

salut,

j'ai parcouru vite fait ton sujet précédent.
Tu as quoi comme carte graphique?
Comment as tu installé les pilotes?

Il y a une époque j'avais beaucoup de soucis avec l'installation d'Ubuntu. Cela était dû aux pilotes de ma carte ATI.

A chaque fois que j'ai voulu installer l'un des deux pilotes FGLRX proposés par l'OS, je plantais, j'étais obligé de le supprimer.
Du coup, je suis avec le pilote brut d'installation, mais lequel est-ce ?

Alors par expérience je te déconseille d'utiliser les pilotes proposés. J'avais les mêmes genre de problème avec ma carte ATI.
Installe les pilotes Catalyst, ils sont top. Pour ce faire il suffit d'aller sur le site d'AMD et de les télécharger : http://support.amd.com/fr/gpudownload/l … linux.aspx

Tu auras un fichier .sh, tu fais un chmod +x dessus et tu le lances. Tu n'as qu'à suivre les instructions et hop c'est nickel.

Pour moi ils marchaient très bien, mais à chaque mise à niveau d'Ubuntu je devais les réinstaller manuellement... Donc je te conseille de garder le fichier dans un coin. Au lancement d'Ubuntu j'avais un écran noir, donc je bootais sur le mode sans echecs et réinstallais les pilotes, et hop ça remarchait bien... Donc garde bien ça en tête aussi. Ma première mise à niveau a été horrible, j'avais mis longtemps avant de comprendre qu'en réinstallant les pilotes ça remarchait (d'où un bon nombre de posts de ma part sur ce site ^^)

Les cartes ATI c'est vraiment pas ça... Depuis je me suis monté mon propre PC et j'ai acheté une carte graphique super compatible Linux (en regardant des tests sur le site phoronix.com, énorme pour connaître les composants Linux qui marchent bien). Depuis je n'ai pas eu un seul problème, j'ai pris les pilotes proposés et peux tout faire avec mon pc, là je viens de faire la mise à niveau 12.10 et je n'ai eu aucun souci, c'est le paradis wink

Malheureusement tu n'est pas le seul, je ne peut plus installer ubuntu sur mon HP depuis la version 12.04. mêmes symptômes que toi.

déjà que j'avais du mal avec unity, mais là ça commence à faire beaucoup.
J'ai l'impression que plus ubuntu "évolue" moins ça fonctionne.
Va surement falloir changer de navire sad

tu as la même puce graphique ? J'ai quand même pu installer 12.04 qui fonctionne en mode dépannage. Tu as un écran noir quand tu veux installer ? A quel moment précis ?

non je n'ai pas la même puce graphique, perso, j'ai du faire une install de 11.10 puis deux mise à niveau pour arriver à la 12.10.

Pour ma part j'ai le Hp Pavilion g7-1231sf et installation de la 12.04 avec l'option nomodeset sans aucun souci puis ajout de

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa

car puce intel puis un coup de sudo apt-get update puis sudo apt-get upgrade et tout roule nickel.

Concernant la 12.10 que ce soit nouvelle install ou mise à jour, écran noir et rien à en tirer, donc pour l'instant je fouille les forums dans l'idée de trouver une parade mais rien de bien concret.

Un peu de concret la dessus, j'ai pu installer une xubuntu 12.10 en faisant la mise à jour de ma 12.04 et tout est passé nickel, pourquoi une ubuntu n'est pas passé alors qu'une xubuntu oui, je l'ignore par contre.

Pour ma part j'ai le Hp Pavilion g7-1231sf et installation de la 12.04 avec l'option nomodeset sans aucun souci puis ajout de
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
car puce intel puis un coup de sudo apt-get update puis sudo apt-get upgrade et tout roule nickel.

L'ajout du ppa n'a rien changé pour 12.04, je suis toujours obligé de démarrer en mode Dépannage, sinon écran noir...
Côté 12.10, j'ai fait une mise à niveau à partir de 12.04 (mode Dépannage), toujours impossible à démarrer, même en Dépannage...
