[Résolu] Problèmes suite à mise à jour vers noyau 3.5.0-13-generic

Bonjour,
J'ai le version 12.04 LTS, en dual-boot avec Windows 7, sur un HP Probook 4535s, le tout fonctionnant bien jusqu'à la semaine dernière.
Le gestionnaire de mises à jour m'a alors proposé un certain nombre de mises à jour, dont l'installation d'un nouveau noyau linux 3.5.0-13-generic. Toute l'installation s'est bien passée.
Mais au redémarrage, gros problème :
- il n'y a plus de curseur visible
- l'interface Unity n'est pas visible
- pas de connexion internet
- les fenêtres des applications sont décalées vers la gauche et en haut.

En redémarrant manuellement sur l'ancien noyau linux 3.2.0-30-generic, tout fonctionne par contre correctement.

Que dois je faire ? Est-ce qu'il est possible d'enlever le nouveau noyau ? Car si je n'interviens pas manuellement, ça démarre toujours sur le 3.5.0-13, avec les mêmes problèmes.
Ou comment résoudre les problèmes mentionnés avec le nouveau noyau ?

Bonjour liliputinchen,

Tu peux essayer ceci :
démarres en choisissant le noyau 3.2.0-30-generic
ouvres un terminal
tapes

dpkg -l | cut -f 3 -d " " | grep linux-

et postes le retour de cette commande

Le noyau 3.5.0-13 ne risque pas de fonctionner, il n'a pas l'air d'être installé (voir liste sur ton précédent post).

Postes le retour de

ls /boot

et de

cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg

et en plus, je ne vois pas de noyau en 3.5 dans les dépots 12.04, que des 3.2; n'aurais-tu pas activé un dépots tiers contenant des noyaux ?

NB: ce qui est bizarre, c'est que ce noyau est inconnu du gestionnaire de paquets, mais que d'après le contenu de /boot, il semble installé...
par contre, tu as des noyaux d'une précédente version d'Ubuntu; il faudrait faire du ménage...

df -h

Esaies ceci

sudo rm -f /boot/System.map-3.5.0-13-generic
sudo rm -f /boot/vmlinuz-3.5.0-13-generic

puis tapes

sudo update-grub

redémarres ton PC sans rien toucher.

Cela fonctionne ???

Comment faire si ce noyau n'apparaît pas dans le GRUB ?

Il me semble qu'en démarrant en mode dépannage on puisse choisir quel noyau dans "Linux Previous"

ça fonctionne, mais au redémarrage, le GRUB se présente avec en première ligne :

en ne faisant rien, Ubuntu démarre finalement correctement, mais après un temps d'attente assez long !

La commande

Donc, j'ai bien démarré sur le noyau 3.2.0-34-generic.
Par conséquent, il faudrait peut être que j'enlève le noyau 3.5.0-13, et que je supprime les vieux noyaux ? Mais pour ne pas faire de bêtises, comment dois je procéder ?

Je pense que le noyau 3.5.0-13 est entièrement enlevé.

tu peux toujours faire un

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

Pour en lever les autres noyaux (IL VAUT MIEUX GARDER LE 3.2.0-34 POUR DÉMARRER + LE 3.2.0-33 EN SECOURS)
tapes SUR UNE SEULE LIGNE

sudo apt-get purge linux-headers-3.2.0-30 linux-headers-3.2.0-30-generic linux-headers-3.2.0-31 linux-headers-3.2.0-31-generic linux-headers-3.2.0-32 linux-headers-3.2.0-32-generic linux-image-3.2.0-29-generic linux-image-3.2.0-30-generic linux-image-3.2.0-31-generic linux-image-3.2.0-32-generic

puis refais

sudo apt-get update

Est-ce que c'est normal ?

Non il n'apparaît pas dans Synaptic, seulement les versions 3.5.0-18 et -19.

Ils viennent probablement de résidus d'installation incomplètes.


pour supprimer ces traces, repostes le retour de

ls /boot
