démarrage et extinction avec 12.04 LTS difficiles

Bonjour,

Après de nombreuses heures passées à essayer de m'habituer sous la 12.04 LTS avec Unity, ensuite avec gnome-session-fallback, j'ai décider de passer à Xubuntu.
Les problèmes qui se présentent aussi bien avec Ubuntu qu'avec Xubuntu:
1. au démarrage: démarrage lent, il m'indique ensuite la phrase:
"Client MAC APPR: ......une série de chiffres et lettres........ GUID: ........une série de chiffres et lettres................ DHCP..."et une clé qui tourne sur elle-m^eme, et ce pendant environ 20 secondes.
Ensuite apparaissent deux lignes que je n'ai pas eu le temps de noter complètement:
PXE -E53: no boot file name received
PXE ?????

2. à l'extinction, il y l'écran bleu avec écrit XUBUNTU et une ligne blanche qui balaye le centre de l'écran de gauche à droite (type voiture K2000!!) pendant 4 secondes, ensuite cette ligne se "freeze", et l'ordi reste comme ça...plus rien ne se passe. Je suis obligé de maintenir le bouton d'allumage enfoncé pour l'éteindre.

L'ordinateur est un ACER Aspire 5560.

Je pense qu'il faut voir du coté des options du DHCP client, et vérifier que ton bios ne cherche pas à démarrer sur PXE.

renvoie nous ton dmesg et /var/log/boot


Désolé de dire ça sur ce forum mais vu les déboires que j'ai eu avec les nouvelles version d'ubuntu, je suis passé à debian, c'est pas plus compliqué, mais c'est plus stable.

Je remercie ubuntu de m'avoir mis le pied à l'étrier mais entre les "révolutions" qui donnent des problèmes et leurs réinventions/séparations du socle communs de GNU. Je considère qu'ils réinventent la roue... On a pas besoin de s'éparpiller comme ça, on s'éloigne du principe même des logiciels libres. Je m'arrête là sinon je vais me faire réprimander par les modérateurs ...

En tout cas bon courage pour ton problème.

bon un petit up!!

en ce qui concerne l'allumage, l'ordi s'allume bien et assez vite. Je n'ai rien fait de particulier: je me suis dit que peut être le fait d'avoir laissé le boot sur le lecteur de dvd posait problème. En allant dans le menu du boot du bios, j'ai vu que il y avait une nouvelle proposition dans les choix de boot: "ubuntu". J'ai donc mis cette option en premier, en deuxième le HDD, et en trois le lecteur dvd. Et ça fonctionne bien, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi!!

pour ce qui est de l'extinction, rien n'a faire: le pc 'freeze" sur l'écran d'extinction avec la page bleue et xubuntu écrit au milieu. je dois appuyer pendant 5 sec sur le bouton d'allumage pour que le pc s'éteigne. A part ça, le pc va bien.

Si quelqu'un a une idée à proposer??

Je pense que tu n'es pas le seul à avoir des problèmes d'extinction... affaire à creuser...
Est-ce qu'il y a un log lors de l'extinction ?

il n'y a pas de log lors de l'extinction. Juste l'écran bleu avec écrit Xubuntu  qui gèle.
Je t'avoue que je ne vais pas creuser......dès que j'ai le temps je teste linux mint, cubuntu ou une autre distribution (j'aimerais essayer débian mais il parait que c'est difficile et qu'il faut quand même de bonnes connaissances informatiques).
Mais je pense aussi que l'ordi est sans doute foireux (acer aspire 5560), car avec la 10.4 LTS il n'y avait aucun problème d'allumage ni d'extinction, mais il ne reconnaissait pas ma carte réseau!!! donc impossible d'aller sur internet!!!

Alors je t'arrête tout de suite, debian n'est pas plus difficile à installer, pas plus compliqué à utiliser. La configuration du matériel s'il n'est pas reconnu peut être un poil plus compliqué, mais franchement, je la conseille à tous pour sa stabilité.

Coté portable, j'avais un acer aspire 3630, et la carte wifi m'a bien pourri la vie, mais justement avec debian, j'ai eu moins de mal !!

Enfin, faut savoir ce que l'on souhaite, essuyer les plâtres de nouveaux logiciels que tout le monde sait instables ou avoir un pc qui marche quand on a besoin ?

Personnellement mon choix est fait surtout depuis qu'ubuntu se sépare du fonctionnement des services. Quelle idée de réinventer la roue...

Pas de problème pour le retard, tu sais nous ne sommes pas tous sur le PC 24/24, nous avons aussi une vie smile

Mon association vient de déployer 9 postes debian (LXDE) dont un serveur samba pour une antenne d'une association nationale. Tous les utilisateurs sont novices, d'après les premiers échos, y'a pas de lézard. Dès que nous en sauront plus, nous en parlerons publiquement sur notre site. Tout ça pour dire que debian est simple d'accès et stable sinon, nous n'aurions pas pris le risque de migrer autant de postes !!

La dernière fois que tester ubuntu, justement c'était pour tenter c'est migration, j'ai fait des tests sur une ubuntu 10.04 pour tester la configuration du serveur. Tout aller bien mais nous avons voulu passer à la version LTS  récemment sortie (lors des tests la 12.04). Beaucoup de problèmes, au lieu d'ajouter des fonctions en préservant les anciennes, ubuntu nous fait  de multiples mauvaises surprises :
- les clients samba ne donne aucune information au serveur samba, du coup impossible d'avoir les droits pour la lecture seule ou lecture écriture
- les clients avaient de nombreux problèmes de freeze dès l'apparition de la fenêtres des mises à jour. Fenêtre que nous ne souhaitions par car les utilisateurs ne sont pas administrateurs.
- problème lors de l'extinction : écran rester bloqué
- sur la Lubuntu que nous avions installé, le nom des commandes pour éteindre, pour redémarrer les services ont changés.

Voici les raisons pour lesquelles, je n'utiliserais plus pendant longtemps ubuntu. Je n'ai rien contre la communauté, mais tous ces changement n'apportent pas de stabilité pour une utilisation sereine pour un utilisateur simple ou même avancé. Alors pour un déploiement de plusieurs postes et une maintenance sur plusieurs années...

Bonjour,

bon j'avais laissé un peu l'ordi faute de temps. J'ai refait une install complète de la 12.04 LTS.
J'ai le m^eme problème qu'avec Xubuntu:
démarrage hasardeux (parfois j'ai tout de suite l'inscription ubuntu sur fond violet, parfois un écran bordé d'un cadre où il me demande si je veux démarrer en mode linux machin quelque chose avec en dessous la meme ligne mais avec entre parenthèse le mode dépannage), démarrage très lent,
l'extinction ne fonctionne pas, ni le redémarrage: je dois appuyer plusieurs secondes sur le bouton d'allumage de l'ordi pour l'éteindre.

Ces problèmes étaient présents avec Xubuntu.

Je me demande donc: est-ce que c'est l'ordi qui est déffectueux?

As-tu tester ta ram en faisant un memtest ?

Le memtest est un test en boucle, tu le fait tourner pendant 1 à 2h, et tu vois s'il y a des erreur inscrite en rouge.

As-tu vérifier ton disque dur avec le live CD ? L'état du smart est pass ?

sinon faut tester une autre distribution...

pour les autres distributions testées, meme problème qu'avec ubuntu: Xubuntu, linuxmint cinamon et mate, Lubuntu, avec debian il bloque à l'installation car il lui manque les pilotes pour la gestion de la carte ethernet.

quand je tape memtest dans le terminal il dit que la commande est introuvable?

pour le test disque dur, j'ai installé smartmontools, lancer les commandes trouvées ici:http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=430815
j'attends ce qu'il va dire.
mais à part les problèmes cités, l'ordi va bien.
