multiboot coincé

Bonjour,
    Après nouvelle installation (7.04 avec alternate cd) pour un multiboot xp_ubuntu sans écraser le mbr :

    Alors que la manip faite en octobre 2006 s'était bien passée avec les conseils de CEP :

    cette fois-ci le double-boot m'est bien proposé au lancement mais si je peux avoir ubuntu, impossible d'aller jusqu'à xp (tout de suite on me demande de faire :
<ctrl> <alt> <suppr> ! ! ! et je reviens à la page de choix.
     Je dois dire qu'avec parted la partition ubuntu /dev/hda2 a été rendue amorçable, la /dev/hda1 (xp), non amorçable, Mais........
que dans le "menu.lst" je n'ai pas trouvé la ligne "make active" pour xp. La voici, excusez la longueur :

normalement le probleme ne devrait pas venir du menu.lst puisque tu as mis lentrée windows apres

cela dit il manque le makeactive...
essaye de charger windows a la main ...(tu tape "c" dans grub puis

root            (hd0,0)
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader     +1
boot

...sinon le probleme vient de widows...

Et oui  la partition Xp doit être amorçable pour pouvoir booter. Ubuntu n'en a cure.
Soit tu modifies avec gparted soit tu tapes :
sudo parted /dev/hda set 1 boot on puis
sudo parted /dev/hda set 2 boot off
