pilote propriétaire GeForce4 MX 440 impossible à activer
J'essaye en vain d'activer le pilote propriétaire pour ma carte nvidia GeForce4 MX 440.

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV18 [GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x] (rev a2)Je suis sous feisty et j'ai installé le paquet nvidia-glx 1.0-9639 via le gestionnaire de pilote propriétaires et j'ai activé le pilote(comme indiqué dans la documentation http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/nvidia, après redémarrage l'interface graphique ne ce lance pas et je doit repasser par le pilote libre !!
Je suis pas à ma première installation d'ubuntu sur du matériel avec une carte nvidia mais là j'avoue que je sèche 
Quelles sont les pistes que je doit revoir pour avoir une idée sur l'origine du problème !!
Mon PC est un HP compaq dx230 avec un pentium4
mon xorg.conf au cas ou !!

Sous Linux, la positive attitude est de mise et je suis très optimiste pour l'avenir.
Vous êtes victime d'une arnaque sur le net, vous tombez sur des contenus illicite (pedopornographie, haine raciale, ...), vous devez le signaler http://www.ecops.be/webforms/Default.aspx?Lang=FR
