Je n'ai plus de script en install.sh sur usr/bin pour scangear ou scangearmp, je n'ai qu'un icône "scangearmp" pour lequel la commande --uninstall me renvoie:
Aïe! Je n'avais plus de détection même en désinstallant et réinstallant à partir de synaptic. Seule l'exécution de ces scripts avec l'option --uninstall m'a permis de retrouver celle-ci et je crois que tu es confronté à la même chose.
A mon avis, le mieux est de réinstaller les différentes versions que tu avais afin de retrouver ces scripts, de les exécuter ensuite (voir les commandes post #14), de désinstaller ensuite proprement avec synaptic et enfin de réinstaller la version 1.60 ici
On verra pour mettre à jour vers la 2.0 mais qu'une fois que tu as rétabli la détection.

Désolé pour délais de réponse, j'étais très occupé... Je viens de me rendre compre qu'on as oublié une piste. Essaye cela :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:robbiew/cups-bjnp
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cups-bnjpreboot et test
Tombé dans l'informatique étant petit, j'en ai fait mon métier. Utilisateur d'Ubuntu depuis novembre 2006, actuellement sous 20.04 x64 (Que d'évolution
depuis Dapper Drake ! Ça rajeunit pas ^^^).

pas de problemes pour la disponibilités, on a tous nos occupations :-)
oui, rebooter=redémarrer l'ordinateur.
On voit dans les retours qu'il y a une erreur dans les dépots :
W: Impossible de récupérer http://ppa.launchpad.net/akirad/akirad/ … 6/Packages 404 Not Found
W: Impossible de récupérer http://ppa.launchpad.net/akirad/ppa/ubu … 6/Packages 404 Not Foundedite les fichier contenant les dépôts avec cette commande (fait bien attention lorsque tu va editer ce fichier)
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.listdedans tu cherche la ou les lignes qui contient le dépôt en erreur, c'est à dire la ou les lignes qui contiennent
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/akirad/akirad/ … 6/tu rajoutes un # devant chaque lignes, puis tu enregistre ton fichier et tu ferme la fenetre.
enfin tu exécute ces commandes :
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade #si plus d'erreur tu peux continuer
sudo apt-get install cups-bnjpreboot et test apres

Un dimanche pas terrible et je me suis remis au boulot.
Le problème vient du driver. Il faut repasser pour le scanner à la version 1.60.
Donc, tu vires tout les scangear que tu as installés, par exemple avec la logitec.
Un greep te permet de voir si tu n'as plus rien (pas de ii devant scangear).
Ensuite tu vas chez cannon chercher le 1.60 et tu l'installes.
Dans mon cas, j'ai forcé un peu (problème d'identificatio du gestionnaire de paquets) avec les commandes
sudo dpkg scangearmp-common_1.60-1_i386.deb (depuis l'endroit où est ton paquet, sinon tu mets l'arborescence devant)
ET
sudo dpkg scangearmp-mg5200series_1.60-1_i386.deb
ET CA MARCHE !!!

Vous auriez une copie des drivers pour ce scanner ? Je n'arrive pas à le trouver où que ce soit sur le web, ni chez Canon ni ailleurs ? (en anglais dans le texte "bummer!")
