[Résolu] Toshiba Satellite L735 WiFi - problème
Bonjour !
Je viens d'installer Ubuntu 12.10 64 bits sur un Toshiba Satellite L735-13X, la carte wifi est une Atheros AR9285, et étonnamment ça ne fonctionne pas !
J'ai installé le driver avec ndiswrapper (j'ai chopé la méthode sur le site du zéro), mais le problème est ailleurs : quand je clique sur l'icône en haut à droite pour explorer les réseaux disponibles, je peux lire une inscription qui m'indique qu'en fait, le module wifi n'est pas allumé ("wifi not available because hardware switch off" ou un truc du genre). Ma question est donc : comment l'allumer ?
Par défaut, quand je boote sous windows 7, le module wifi est éteint et j'utilise le raccourci clavier pour l'allumer. Seulement ce raccourci n'existe pas sous mon instal linux. Donc je sus un peu bloqué pour le moment. Je demande de l'aide demain sur le forum Toshiba, mais si vous avez des idées je suis preneur !

Étonnamment, on arrête windows et ce dernier désactive le wifi ...on se demande pourquoi d'ailleurs ...ah, mais oui, c'est pour économiser de l'energie pendant les 30 secondes à 30 minutes (quand il fait ses maj) que windows prends pour s'arreter !

Plus sérieusement, il faut creuser d'abord 2 pistes :
1/ coté windows, soit le driver ou le programme qui gere le wifi doit etre paramétré pour etteindre le wifi lors de l'arret de windows.
2/ du coté du bios, tu as peut etre une option permettant de forcer le wifi a etre actif dès la mise sous tension du portable.
Enfin coté ubuntu, tu peut commencer par faire ce qui est demandé dans le post épinglé (= tjours en haut de la liste des sujets) "A lire avant de poster !!!"
PS : ndiswrapper n'est pas du tout necessaire, il y a le module ath9k qui gere ce matériel et ce depuis le noyau 2.6;27 qui correspond a la version 9.10
Tombé dans l'informatique étant petit, j'en ai fait mon métier. Utilisateur d'Ubuntu depuis novembre 2006, actuellement sous 20.04 x64 (Que d'évolution
depuis Dapper Drake ! Ça rajeunit pas ^^^).

merci pour la réponse, ça m'aide pas mal (j'avais pas vu le post-it : normal il était juste sous mon nez 
)
Côté Bios, j'ai regardé avant de poster : je ne peux pas régler le wifi par là. Je vais tenter côté driver sous windows et je vous tiens au courant (j'édite ce post si je trouve a solution).

J'ai tenté un petit "sudo ifconfig wlan0 up" mais j'ai eu en réponse "SIOCSIFFLAGS: Opération impossible du fait de RF-kill".
EDIT :
J'ai réinstallé le driver sous windaubedos, j'ai reflashé le bios : le wifi fonctionne à nouveau !
