[Résolu] Boot-Repair en EFI : fonctionnement alternatif

Le fonctionnement alternatif décrit dans ce post #1 est abandonné (voir post #2 à #4) au profit d'un fonctionnement plus logique à mon goût.
Ce post, c'est pour m'y référer pour montrer le fonctionnement assez bizarre de Boot-Repair quand il est utilisé dans un dual-boot Ubuntu/windows 8. On va voir que la 2ème "Réparation recommandée" fait un retour en arrière (rétablissement des fichiers .efi d'origine de Windows 8) alors que la 3ème "Réparation recommandée" revient à l'état de la réparation initiale. Ce mouvement alternatif se poursuit indéfiniment pour la plus grande perplexité du novice qui utilise Boot-Repair.
L'essai est fait dans VMware Player dans une machine virtuelle configurée en mode EFI (ajout d'une ligne firmware = "efi" dans le fichier .vmx de la machine). Windows 8 et Ubuntu 13.04 Beta sont installés en mode EFI. 
"Réparation recommandée" initiale faite avec Boot-Repair :
Boot-Repair remplace les fichiers de démarrage de Windows 8 par les fichiers de démarrage de Ubuntu.

Ce fonctionnement alternatif est voulu. Il permet :
- de renommer les fichiers EFI lors de la 1ere réparation, ce qui fonctionne dans la grande majorité des cas.
- puis si besoin (si Grub n'apparait pas), d'annuler simplement le renommage des fichiers EFI, afin d'être sûr que le soucis ne vient pas du renommage. En général le soucis vient d'option à désactiver dans le BIOS ( SecureBoot, IntelSRT, etc..).

Ceci-dit, comme je n'ai jamais vu de cas où le renommage était en cause, on pourrait envisager d'arreter ce fonctionnement alternatif.

Je viens de voir que dans la nouvelle version 3.198~ppa5 de Boot-Repair, le fonctionnement alternatif a été supprimé et moi ça me plaît bien .
J'ai eu la flemme de vérifier cela depuis une session liveCD (virtuelle) : je l'ai vérifié en faisant la réparation recommandée de Boot-Repair depuis la session normale de Ubuntu installé. J'ai fait les 3 réparations successives suivantes (avec redémarrage de la machine après chaque réparation pour vérifier le fonctionnement) :

Je peux confirmer que le fonctionnement alternatif a bien disparu et que tout fonctionne comme il me semble que ça doit fonctionner.
