grub ne me démarre pas la bonne partition windows

Salut, j'ai sur mon PC(Acer Aspire E360-UB7V) Windows(XP) et Ubuntu, que je viens d'installer.
Jusque là , tout va bien, j'allume le PC, le grub se lance, j'y retrouve Ubuntu et windows. Ubuntu marche bien, mais quand je démarre Windows...:(
Il y a le systeme de restauration d'Acerqui se lance à  la place de windows xp. Et là , mes choix sont relativement limités :
  - Restaurer le pc comme à  la sortie d'usine
  - Restaurer le pc grà¢ce à  une sauvegarde CD/DVD

Autant vous dire qu'aucun des 2 ne m'interressent, surtout que ma partition Windows est toujours là , et qu'elle est complète. J'ai donc fait des recherches, et j'en ai conclut que grub ne bootait pas sur la bonne partition, surtout que voici à  quoi ressemble mon disque dur avec GParted :

  - Ubuntu est installé sur /dev/sda3
  - Windows est installé sur /dev/sda5, qui est dans /dev/sda2
  - En /dev/sda1, c'est la partition de restauration Acer.

De plus, voici mon fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst :

Il est bien marqué à  la fin qu'il va booter sur /dev/sda1. Or, moi j'aimerais qu'il boote sur /dev/sda5.
J'ai donc essayé de remplacer "root          (hd0,0)" par "root        (hd0,4), mais ça ne marche pas, ni avec aucun autre d'ailleurs...

Voila, savez vous comment faire svp ?

Je ne sais pas comment tu as mis win sur une extended, mais ça sent la copie de partition ...

Win ne démarre que sur une partition primaire, active ... donc aucune chance que ça marche, sauf si les fondamentaux de win ont changé
