Ubuntu 12,04 application a quitté de façon inattendue

Bonjour,i
Depuis que je suis passée sous ubuntu 12.04, j'ai plusieurs applications qui se plantent.
Exemple
"L'application Xpdf a quitté de façon inattendue"
Dans le rapport d'erreur pour xpdf lancé depuis un terminal j'ai lu

l'appplication xpdf a quitté de façon inattendue a écrit :

De même j'ai des plantages dans abiword lorsque j'ouvre certains documents.

Remarque j'ai installé ubtuntu 12,04 sur un ubuntu10,04, j'ai reformaté le système mais gardé mon home.
J'ai installé gnome, et xubuntu, parce que j'ai du mal à m'habituer à unity, néanmoins les plantages se produisent également sur unity sur un nouvel utilisateur.

Ci après ce qui est écrit sur la console lors du lancement de xpdf et abiword dans un terminal.

J'avais une situation similaire quand le hardware a été un peu ancien pour ubuntu 12.04.
D'abord ne gardes pas ton /home car tu vas amener le problème pour chaque nouvelle installation.
Peux-tu nous indiquer les caractéristiques de ton ordinateur?

Voilà ce qu'indique la facture a écrit :

On a rajouté de la RAM, désormais nous avons 4 Go

Quand à garder le /home, c'est ce que je fais à chaque fois sans problème majeur, jusqu'à maintenant.

La machine semble bonne pour ubuntu 12.04, je penche par la home comme la cause.

Bonjour,
Les plantages mentionnés ci-dessus, ont été obtenus sur un nouvel utilisateur de test qui n'existait pas en 10.04.
J'avais pensé au problème de home, c'est pour cela que je l'ai mentionné, mais cela n'explique pas tout.
