Erreur majeure à l'installation de google earth

Bonjour,
En voulant installer le paquet debian de google earth depuis le site français,j'ai complètement planté mon gestionnaire de mise à jour car je ne plus faire de màj  avec le gestionnaire de paquets ou le terminal ;  n'étant pas très au point sur ces pb ,je me tourne vers vous pour m'expliquer ce qui ce passe.

Voici le message:

"Il s'agit d'une erreur majeure de votre système de gestion de logiciels. Veuillez vérifier les paquets cassés avec Synaptic, vérifiez les droits d'accès et l'exactitude du fichier « /etc/apt/sources.list », puis rechargez la liste des paquets disponibles ou installés en exécutant les commandes : « sudo apt-get update » et « sudo apt-get install -f »."

Je ne comprend pas ce qu'il faut faire dans la 1ère partie du message "Veuillez vérifier les paquets cassés avec Synaptic, vérifiez les droits d'accès et l'exactitude du fichier « /etc/apt/sources.list ";
J'ai exécuté les cdes  « sudo apt-get update » et « sudo apt-get install -f ».mais voilà ce que me retourne la 2ème cde:

sudo apt-get install -f 
Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait
Construction de l'arbre des dépendances       
Lecture des informations d'état... Fait
E: Le paquet google-earth-stable doit être réinstallé, mais il est impossible de trouver son archive.

Je suis sur le système voyager 12.10 .

Je vous informe avoir voulu utiliser successivement l'installateur de paquets debian ainsi que la logithèque ubuntu .... sans succès, rien ne s'est installé et mon système de mise à jour est complètement planté

Quelqu'un a-t-il une réponse???

Googleearth est un paquet ubuntu => http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/googleearth-package
Dommage que tu aies fait du tripatouillage.

Que dit ceci:

grep -r ^deb\  /etc/apt/*.list

+ as-tu un répertoire /home séparé de la partition système ?
+ installer une version raring te fait peur ?

Merci φlip, je suis d'accord sur ton appréciation je n'avais pas vu que le paquet existait dans ubuntu....

Je n'ai pas de home séparé mais je peux sauvegarder le peu de fichiers que j'ai sur ce système.
J'ai effectivement pensé comme toi qu'une réinstall en version 13.04 s'impose pour mon cas désespéré...
Comme disait Jean-Paul II : je n'ai pas peur ... alors je vais certainement me lancer et installer voyager 13.04 sur ce disque.

Toutefois, que penses -tu du retour de la ligne de cde???

Tout dépend de tes intentions.
Ou bien tu tiens à ta quantal, et on essaie, ou bien tu avais dans la tête de réiinstaller, et pas la peine de se casser le turlututu.

On peut essayer ça pour voir.
sudo aptitude update , puis  retour de :

aptitude --simulate --full-resolver safe-upgrade

Salut
Avant tout la 12.10   est une version particulièrement instable, passe en voyager 13.04 cela sera plus simple et tu n'auras plus de soucis.

La critique est facile, mais l'art est difficile !
L'humanité étant ce qu'elle est, la liberté ne sera jamais un acquit, mais toujours un droit à défendre !
Pour résoudre un problème commence par poser les bonnes questions, la bonne solution en découlera

J'oubliais qu'il est possible qu'aptitude ne soit pas installé par défaut dans ubuntu / à vérifier.
Sinon faire d'abord.

sudo apt-get install aptitude

j'ai pu récupérer mon gestionnaire de paquets synaptic mais le rechargement ne s'effectue pas correctement et il me manque des fichiers

voilà le message:

grep -A10 'Package: google-earth-stable'  /var/lib/dpkg/status

Et pour ton ppa qui t'emmerde ... vire le de ton sources.list tout simplement.

le code ne donne rien pas de retour.
je crois que je vais installer voyager 13.04 sur ce disque dès demain

Le paquet googleearth est très intrusif.
Le prendre d'une autre distribution n'était pas une bonne idée.
Ça te fait une opportunité d'avoir un système propre.

Salut φlip,

J'ai essayé d'installer googleearth :
1/ j'ai installé googleearth-package_0.7.0_all.deb depuis http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/googleearth-package
2/ dans un terminal :

make-googleearth-package

3/ j'ai téléchargé google-earth-stable_current_amd64.deb depuis http://www.google.fr/earth/download/ge/agree.html puis installé ce .deb
4/ puis en lançant google-earth via un terminal j'ai eu un message de bug que je n'ai pas relevé.
5/ ne réussissant pas à faire fonctionner le truc, j'ai purgé googleearth et les dépendances.

Que doit-on faire pour installer Google Earth ?

Dans une installation Debian, make-googleearth-package va chercher le .bin chez google, puis crée un .deb qu'il suffit d'installer.
Je n'ai pas d'ubuntu sous la main, mais aucune raison que ce soit différent.
J'ai d'aiileurs installé ce googlearth aussi bien sous raring que Debian: pas vu de difficultés.

Par contre, à partir de "synaptic" ou Muon ou d'outils de ce genre, je ne sais pas si ça se passe aussi facilement.
