Déconnexion du disque dur externe à  l'écriture

Bonjour,

J'ai acheté un disque dur multimédia externe STOREX Mpix qui est allé en SAV pour cause de dysfonctionnement. Là  il est revenu, pour information ils ont changé le firmware et sûrement formaté voire changé le disque dur.
Depuis que je l'ai récupéré il est toujours reconnu, je peux lire les données qui sont dessus, mais dès que je veux copier un fichier depuis mon ordi vers le DDur il se déconnecte automatiquement en donnant l'impression que j'ai débranché le cà¢ble (avertissement sur le risque de perte de données).

Quelqu'un aurait une idée des choses à  regarder pour trouver la source du problème ? Je viens de regarder avec fdisk il est en FAT32

Apparemment les petits fichier passent. Et les fichiers sur lesquels j'ai testé font environ 170Mo.
