[Résolu] Dual boot windows 8 ubuntu 13.04 - Samsung Ativ Book 2
Bonjour à tous,
suite à une lecture de pas mal de forum, je me suis lancé dans l'installation d'un dual boot Windows 8 / Ubuntu 13.04 sur mon nouveau laptop (Samsung ativ book 2 - NP270E5E-K02BE).
- J'ai désactiver "Fastboot" dans l'UEFI et "FastStartUp" dans Win8.
- J'ai booté sans problème sur LiveUSB 13.04 64bit (check wifi, etc... OK)
- J'ai lancé l'install, tous s'est bien passé
- Au redémarrage sans liveUSB, j'ai testé Ubuntu 13.04, pas de problème, par contre Win8 ne démarre pas (problème "invalid efi file path")
- J'ai lancé boot repair (réparation recommandée) une première fois, ca marche toujours pas, mais une notification pour me demander de désactiver "secureboot"
- Je suis donc retourné dans l'uefi pour désactiver "Secureboot"
- J'ai refait un boot repair (réparation recommandée), il m'a demandé de copier et exécuter plusieurs lignes de code dans le terminal (désinstallation/réinstallation de ubuntu "signed" dans le grub si j'ai bien compris).
- Maintenant ça fonctionne correctement, j'arrive à booter les deux, mais je souhaiterais quand même avoir l'avis de la communauté sur mon boot info : paste.ubuntu.com/5867264
Est ce que je dois réactiver secure boot ou pas ?
Je pensais que la 13.04 permettait d'installer ubuntu sans désactiver secureboot, j'ai merdé quelque part ?
Pour booter win8, je dois choisir les entrées "Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi" ou "Windows Boot Uefi loader" pour que ca marche, si je sélectionne "Windows 8 (loader) (on /dev/sda2), ca coince. C'est normal ? Pourquoi y'a t'il trois entrées relative à Win 8 ?

S'agissant de réactiver "Secure Boot", je ne te le conseille pas* : tu as obtenu un dual-boot fonctionnel géré par Grub et pour en arriver là, je ne sais pas ce qu'il en est pour toi mais certains ont sérieusement mouillé la chemise. Je te recommande de rester en l'état.
Pour ta question : "Pour booter win8, je dois choisir les entrées "Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi" ou "Windows Boot Uefi loader" pour que ca marche, si je sélectionne "Windows 8 (loader) (on /dev/sda2), ca coince. C'est normal ? Pourquoi y'a t'il trois entrées relative à Win 8 ? "
C'est normal que les deux entrées soient fonctionnelles : elles ont été créées par Boot-Repair justement pour pallier le mauvais fonctionnement de Grub qui fait que l'entrée "Windows 8 (loader) (on /dev/sda2)" n'est pas fonctionnelle. Donc, tu ne changes rien, tu te contentes de démarrer sur l'entrée "Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi" (l'autre donne le même résultat mais bon...) et tu traites par l'indifférence l'entrée non fonctionnelle.
*bien sûr, tu peux faire l'essai sans problème de réactiver "Secure Boot" mais si j'en crois ce post, ça va merdouiller : en sélectionnant ubuntu dans le menu Grub, tu devrais pouvoir démarrer sur Ubuntu mais en sélectionnant les entrées "Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi" ou Windows Boot Uefi loader", ça ne va pas marcher.
Edit : le rapport Boot-Info indique la présence d'un fichier bootmgr et d'un dossier boot, tous deux à la racine de la partition sda2. Selon moi, c'est une anomalie : ces deux éléments n'ont rien à faire là. Depuis Ubuntu, je te suggère de les renommer respectivement en bootmgr_pourri et boot_pourri et de vérifier au redémarrage que Windows 8 n'est pas affecté par ces modifications.

Effectivement, je n'ai pas trop galéré pour en arriver là, je vais donc rester tranquille et profiter simplement de ubuntu sur ma nouvelle bécane
Je dois rajouter mon modèle, à la liste des portables sur la doc ?
Question subsidiaire : est il possible de changer l'ordre de démarrage voir le nom des entrée dans GRUB (pour simplifier la vie des autres utilisateurs du PC) ?

J'ai complété mon post #2 entre temps.
Si tu sais rajouter ton modèle à la liste, tu peux le faire sinon tu me dis et je le ferai.
Changer l'ordre du menu de démarrage, c'est la mauvaise idée à mon avis : ce qu'il faut c'est faire un démarrage par défaut sur Windows 8 pour les autres utilisateurs et ça peut se faire de la façon suivante (astuce pompée de la doc) :
tu édites le fichier /etc/default/grub avec pouvoir administrateur en passant cette commande dans un terminal :
gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub
L'éditeur de texte gedit se lance et montre le contenu du fichier.
Tu remplaces la ligne :
GRUB_DEFAULT=0
par celle-ci (copiée ici) :
GRUB_DEFAULT="Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi"
Tu enregistres dans gedit et tu le fermes.
Puis tu passes la commande de mise à jour de Grub en passant cette dernière commande dans un terminal :
sudo update-grub
Au redémarrage, la ligne "Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi" sera présélectionnée dans le menu Grub : si on ne touche à rien, ça démarre direct sur Windows 8. Donc pour les "autres utilisateurs" de l'ordi, ils ne touchent à rien mais toi pour aller sur Ubuntu, il faudra que tu sélectionnes la première ligne du menu.
Edit : puisque tu vas toucher aux réglages, tu devrais en profiter pour toucher à la ligne suivante du même fichier /etc/default/grub (astuce également pompée dans la doc) :
GRUB_TIMEOUT=10
qui définit le temps d'affichage du menu Grub pour le diminuer à une valeur acceptable (moi, j'arrive à mettre GRUB_TIMEOUT=3, ce qui fait un temps d'affichage un peu inférieur à 3 secondes). Si tu le fais par tentatives successives en diminuant à chaque fois le temps, n'oublie pas de passer la commande "sudo update-grub" après chaque modif sinon elle n'est pas prise en compte par Grub...
