SOS mise à niveau de Ubuntu v9.04 vers v12.04

Bonjour,

J'ai lancé la mise à niveau via le gestionnaire du PC. Cela a duré plus de 24h. Plusieurs erreurs ont été signalées. Finalement le PC démarre, mais il n'y a pas de réseau sans fil. Il y a bcp de logiciels en erreur. Comment faire? En plus j'ai perdu le menu qui permet d'acceder le gestionnaire des versions. Il me semble qu'il faudra tout vérifier et recommencer. Avez-vous des idées à me suggérer?
informations système : ubuntu 12.04 LST (précédente version 9.04).

dans un terminal ?

Sinon, le mieux serait peut-être de tout réinstaller

Merci pour cette réponse. J'ai essayé dmesg. Malheureusement ça n'a pas marché. Ubuntu a été bavard, mais il y a bcp de choses qui ne marchent pas.

1. Effectivement j'avais GRUB LEGACY. Après l'installation la version est GNU GRUB 1.99. A la fin de l'install de GRUB2 j'ai eu le message suivant :

J'ai effectivement Ubuntu v12.04. Le wifi fonctionne.

Par contre, il y a des messages dans des fenêtres pop-up qui signalent qu'un logiciel ne fonctionne pas. Je voudrais savoir si python est indispensable pour le fonctionnement de cet ordinateur.

Je constate que l'interface graphique a changé depuis la version 9. Avant il y avait un menu dans un bandeau horizontal en haut à l'écran.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant j'avais l'interface Gnome mais pas maintenant ou qu'il ne pas configuré de la même manière.

Sous la version Ubuntu 12.04.02 LTS il y a l'interface UNITY pour avoir une interface Gnome,il faut ajouter le paquet gnome-session-fallback on le trouve dans synaptic ou dans la logithèque.
Faire un redémarrage de l'ordinateur puis un clic sur le cercle blanc (il est haut dessus de la casse pour mettre le mot de passe) là une fenêtre s'ouvre il y a Unity,Gnome classic (effets),Gnome classic (sans effets) on met celui que l'on souhaite ,on rentre le mot de passe et on a l'interface gnome
