[RESOLU]problème mise à jour firmware for linux kernel drivers

[Bonjour à tous,

premier souci avec ubuntu depuis 6 mois!
Je n'arrive à mettre le jour, la mise à jour concernée est:

firmware for linux kernel drivers

à changements, c'est écrit:

Modifications pour les versions :
Version installée : 1.79.4
Version disponible : 1.79.6

et description:

Je ne sais pas trop si toutes ces infos sont nécessaires, je suis débutante et c'est le premier problème que je n'arrive à régler seule.

J'ai tenté la commande:

sudo apt-get update

E: Le téléchargement de quelques fichiers d'index a échoué, ils ont été ignorés, ou les anciens ont été utilisés à la place.

Je ne sais pas à quoi correspond SFR live CD...ça me semble bizarre que ça apparaisse maintenant alors que je ne l'ai pas utilisé vraiment ou alors voilà 5 mois...  j'ai fais une grosse bêtise?
Pour info avant ça, j'avais un sens interdit qui est apparu en haut à droite, et je n'arrivai pas à installer les mises à jour, j'ai résolu le problème grâce au forum, mais au final je me demande si le souci d'aujourd'hui n'est pas la conséquence de l'autre, et si je n'ai pas crée un plus gros problème en utilisant le terminal, gloups!
Si une bonne âme souhaite se pencher sur mon cas, j'ai vu beaucoup de cas similaires mais je préfère être sure de la méthode à adopter, vu mon premier échec!

je te conseillerais d'éditer (avec gedit ou autre) ton fichier sources.list (dans/etc/apt), après avoir fait une copie de sauvegarde avant, pour y commenter les lignes le concernant (ajout du caractère # au début de la ligne concernée), puis de rafraîchir ta liste et de nous dire si c'est mieux (ou pire…).

Pour la copie de sauvegarde, tu ouvres une console. Dedans, tu y tapes ou colles le code suivant :

sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.sav

Tu donnes ton mot de passe root et c'est terminé.

Pour l'édition du fichier /etc/apt/sources.list, il te faut aussi les droits de root. Soit tu fais tout en mode graphique, soit tout en console.
Je pense que la première option est plus simple pour toi, parce que l'édition en console se fait sans la souris…

Pour le mode graphique, tu appuies sur la touche "Alt" et "F2". Une ligne de commande graphique va s'ouvrir. Tu y tapes :

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Tu donnes ton mot de passe root et gedit ouvre /etc/apt/sources.list.
Tu commentes les lignes commençant par "cdrom" en plaçant en début de ligne le caractère #.
Tu enregistres, puis en console tu fais :

sudo apt-get update

et tu nous tiens informés pour les messages d'erreur.

En console :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Pour la copie de sauvegarde ça n'a pas marché, quand je rentre le code dans le terminal, ça ne me donne rien du tout...

J'ai quand même éditer le fichier, puis marquer les lignes avec #
et ça le donne ça:

Hier, j'avais essayé de faire une copie de sauvegarde, et aucun message n'est apparu dans le terminal. ET ce matin, de nouvelles mises à jour sont arrivées, je les ai installé comme d'hab puis redémarrer.
Cet aprèm, j'ai fait ce que je viens d'écrire au dessus et je  me rend compte qu'il n'y a plus cette mise à jour qui bloquait, le problème serait peut-être résolu?
Je ne comprends pas ce qui s'est passé, tu peux m'expliquer? ou m'orienter vers un peu de lecture?

Bonsoir,

Pour la copie de sauvegarde, la commande a fonctionné, mais elle n'indique rien effectivement. Néanmoins, tu peux vérifier dans le gestionnaire de fichiers (Nautilus ou Fichiers) que /etc/apt/sources.list.sav existe bien maintenant.
Vu que tu n'as plus de messages d'erreur et que tes mises à jour se déroulent normalement, tu peux estimer que c'est résolu et éditer ton message en conséquence.
En commentant les lignes contenant une source indiquant un cdrom inexistant, tu as maintenant un fichier sources.list propre et fonctionnel, car il ne contient plus de lien vers des sources erronées ou inexistantes.
Je ne sais pas si j'ai répondu à toutes tes questions. À toi de voir.
Pour la lecture, je te conseille la documentation sur ce site où il te suffit de taper en général un mot pour accéder à une fiche ou un mode d'emploi souvent très complet.

avec échec d'installation...bref ça n'a pas suffit...

Tu peux faire:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Donne les retours entre balises Code.

Comme l'installation du paquet ne se termine pas correctement, on va simuler sa bonne fin. Par la suite, il faudra réinstaller le paquet pour que la mise à jour soit OK.

Donne donc le contenu du fichier en résultat de cette commande :

gedit /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-firmware.postinst

[EDIT] La commande "clean" efface les paquets téléchargés, pour faire de la place.

bon alors j'ai fait ce que tu m'as dis et en commande ça ne marque rien, par contre ça m'a ouvert un fichier gedit nommé linux-firmware.postinst (/var/lib/dpkg/info) mais c'est une page blanche, c'est normal?
J'ai tenté de réinstaller la mise à jour, mais la mise à jour a échoué!

C'est le fait que le fichier soit vide qui cause problème. Il faut donc éditer ce fichier avec les droits d'administrateur avec :

gksudo gedit /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-firmware.postinst

et y insérer :

#!/bin/sh
set -e
exit 0

et l'enregistrer.

Ensuite, donne le retour de cette commande :

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Si c'est OK, il faudra réinstaller le paquet linux firmware. Je t'indiquerais la commande après que tu aies donné le résultat.

Non, je posais les 2 questions pour ne pas passer à côté de quelque chose.

Concernant la suite, il faut que tu fasses les manipulations en étant connecté au réseau par câble.

Tu vas donc supprimer le paquet gênant avec :

sudo apt-get remove r8192ce

Donne le retour de la commande avant que l'on continue.

Maintenant, tu peux essayer de terminer l'installation de linux-firmware avec :

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Oups! ça me donne ça:

dpkg : erreur : requiert une option d'action

Utiliser « dpkg --help » pour une obtenir une aide sur l'installation et la désinstallation des paquets [*] ;
Utiliser « dselect » ou « aptitude » pour gérer les paquets de manière
plus conviviale ;
Utiliser « dpkg -Dhelp » pour obtenir une liste des valeurs drapeaux de débogage ;
Utiliser « dpkg --force-help » pour consulter la liste des options de forçage ;
Utiliser « dpkg-deb --help » pour obtenir une aide sur la manipulation des fichiers *.deb ;

Les options marquées d'un [*] affichent beaucoup d'informations - tubez-les à travers « less » ou « more ».

Il manquait un tiret dans la commande. Réessaye avec :

sudo dpkg --configure -a
