[Résolu] Dualboot windows 8 et ubuntu 12.04 UEFI ?

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai reçu mon nouveau Pc. Un Toshiba Satellite C75-A-10U avec Windows 8.

Je souhaiterai garder les 2 systèmes (win 8 et ubuntu) avec la possibilité de choisir au démarrage.

J'ai bien lu la méthode pour faire le dual boot mais j'ai quelques questions. http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/cohabitation_ubuntu_windows
Je pense que mon pc est en UEFI car il démarre rapidement. Comment en être sur ?

Quel installation dois-je faire ? Avec ou sans UEFI ?
Pour un débutant vaut-il mieux le faire sans UEFI ?

Voilà pour l'instant. Après j'essaie l'installation.

Bonjour,

J’essaie d'installer ubuntu à l'aide de linux secure mais je n'y arrive pas.
Dans les paramètres d'alimentations, j'ai désactivé le démarrage rapide et dans le bios mis le boot sur le CDVD.

Au démarrage du celui celui-ci lance la session normalement.

Soit l'image de linux secure n'est pas bonne ou j'ai oublié quelque chose.

Je te recommande de faire une liveUSB (au lieu d'un liveCD) en utilisant cette procédure : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p10730101
Utilise l'iso qui est mentionné dans cette procédure et pas l'iso de Linux Secure Remix (ce machin n'est jamais à jour et en plus il n'existe que pour Ubuntu 13.04 : il n'y a pas de Linux Secure Remix pour Ubuntu 12.04.3).

Apparemment le fichier à télécharger est AMD.
Est-ce normal pour un processeur intel ou ça n'a aucun rapport ?

"Effacer le disque et installer ubuntu ou Autre chose" mais pas "Installer ubuntu à côté des autres".

J'arrive sur le partitionnement manuel et je ne sais que faire.
J'ai lu la doc doc

J'ai vu qu'il était possible de faire une "Partition de partage de données avec Windows, MacOS ou autre"
Idéal pour échanger des données.

Malheureusement (ou heureusement parce que ça évite à l'installateur automatique de faire sa tambouille de fast-food*), il y a un bug de Ubuntu qui fait que la détection de Windows 8 installé en mode UEFI (c'est ton cas) ne fonctionne pas. Par conséquent le seul choix possible est "Autre chose", c'est à dire que tu dois définir manuellement ton installation. J'ai réalisé ce tuto qui peut t'aider. Il a été écrit pour Ubuntu 12.04.2 mais tu peux l'utiliser pour Ubuntu 12.04.3. Tu fais allusion à la "Partition de partage de données avec Windows" : c'est ce que je pratique et je te recommande de l'adopter. Mon tuto ne décrit pas en détail l'installation avec ce type de partition mais je peux te guider précisément si tu souhaites en adopter une pour ton installation.
Ce que je te recommande, c'est de ne pas faire l'installation tout de suite mais de faire d'abord un état des lieux en réalisant un Boot-Info : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info
Tu postes l'URL du Boot-Info comme c'est demandé, comme ça en cas de coup dur, on peut t'aider à réparer d'éventuelles problèmes que tu pourrais découvrir après installation grâce à l'état des lieux fait auparavant.

* Je veux dire que l'installateur automatique ne convient pas pour créer une partition /home (inutile dans ton cas à mon avis), ni une "Partition de partage de données avec Windows" (très souhaitable à mon avis)

J'ai réussi l'installation.
J'ai fais une partition de 75go pour ubuntu et 25go en partagé. Par contre je ne sais pas comment identifié la partition partagé ?

J'ai un autre petit souci que je n'arrive pas à résoudre. A chaque redémarrage la luminosité revient au minimum. Après recherche il semble que les autres utilisateurs ont le problème inverse.
Comment faire ?

Je te prie de faire un Boot-Info mais au lieu de le faire depuis une session live comme c'est proposé à l'étape 1, je te prie de le faire depuis ton Ubuntu installé. Je te dirai comment faire pour ta question sur la partition de partages.

Je vois que tu as 32 Go de partition swap. Tu as vraiment voulu adopter 32 Go pour cette partition ? C'est excessif parce que comme tu as 6 Go de mémoire vive DDR3, une taille de 7 Go pour la partition swap aurait été suffisant (voir doc sur la swap)
Par contre, tu n'as pas créé de Partition de partage de données avec Windows : je pense que tu voulais en créer une mais que tu as confondu la partition de partage et la partition swap (d'où la taille exagérée de ta swap). Tu peux confirmer mon hypothèse ?

Je ne te le conseille pas. Tu as la chance de ne rien avoir cassé pour l'instant et tu devrais en rester là pour le moment, le temps de connaître un peu mieux Ubuntu.
Dans l'immédiat, si tu as besoin de stocker des doc créés depuis une session Ubuntu, il seront stockés dans ta partition racine de Ubuntu (sda6). Comme tu as 62 Go de dispo dans cette partition, tu as de quoi stocker des données depuis Ubuntu.

Edit : la philo de la "Partition de partage de données avec Windows", c'est qu'elle doit occuper la quasi-totalité de l'espace du disque dur et recueillir la totalité des données de Windows et de Ubuntu. Concrètement, ça peut se faire du côté Windows en déplaçant "Mes documents", "Mes Vidéos", etc... du disque C; vers cette partition de partage. Cela implique un disque C: amaigri (taille ne dépassant pas 100 Go). Si tu veux créer cette partition de partage avec cette philo - maintenant ou plus tard - il faudra faire maigrir très fortement ton disque C: de Windows.

Non. Je te suggère de créer une nouvelle discussion pour ce sujet de la luminosité. Mais je pense que tu devrais formuler le pb comme ceci : "la luminosité est au minimum au démarrage et je suis obligé à chaque fois d'augmenter le luminosité" plutôt que d'écrire "luminosité revient au minimum à chaque démarrage".

Si on en croit ce que ça raconte, le démarrage par défaut devrait se faire sur Windows (Boot0004* Windows Boot Manager en priorité au démarrage). Ben oui mais non : le "Bios" tordu des Toshiba ne fonctionne pas comme ça : voir EDIT du 20 mai 2014 dans le post #20. Ce qui signifie que pour démarrer sur Ubuntu, il faut que tu fasses quelque chose. Je suppose que tu vas dans ton système UEFI pour forcer le démarrage sur ubuntu. Peux-tu confirmer en donnant la procédure précise que tu utilises pour ce faire ?

A la fin de l'installation d'ubuntu, je démarrais seul sur ubuntu.
J'ai effectué un boot repair afin de réparer le démarrage.

Au démarrage du pc sans action de ma part, j'arrive sur la page de grub où je peux choisir quel OS démarrer.

C'est parfait. J'en tire deux remarques :
1) la réparation faite par Boot-Repair que tu as faite (celle qui t'a permis de démarrer en ajoutant les entrées pour Windows 8) a bien fonctionné chez toi ; il arrive que les entrées pour W8 créées par Boot-Repair ne permettent pas de démarrer W8 quand Secure Boot est activé.
2) Ton Toshiba est équipé d'un UEFI qui fonctionne au mieux pour la cohabitation avec Ubuntu. Si tous les ordis Toshiba qui sortent actuellement sont équipés aussi bien (pour UEFI), ça va devenir facile à installer en dual-boot dans ces machines.

EDIT du 20 mai 2014 : à la lumière des résultats récents sur des modèles Toshiba, je suis en mesure de mieux comprendre le fonctionnement de ces vacherie de Bios Toshiba et je trouve une explication à ce qui me paraissait curieux dans les posts précédents : en fait, le boot des Toshiba est bloqué sur le fichier /EFI/Boot/bootx64.efi de la partition EFI et la priorité de Boot qu'on peut voir dans le Boot-Info (comme dans le post #14), le Toshiba s'en fout complètement. Dans le post #10, on peut voir dans le Boot-Info la présence d'un fichier /EFI/Boot/bkpbootx64.efi qui la marque d'une "réparation recommandée" de Boot-Repair qui a été faite sans le dire - le novice est attirée comme un aimant par cette fonctionnalité trop belle pour être bonne - et qui implique que le fichier /EFI/Boot/bootx64.efi est en fait le lanceur de Grub alors que le fichier /EFI/Boot/bkpbootx64.efi est le lanceur de Windows 8

Il faut faire précéder les commandes par sudo. Pour t'aider, je détaille ce que ça donnerait :

sudo apt-get update

(cette première commande, je la rajoute "en plus", au cas où).
Ensuite,

sudo apt-get remove grub-pc

Là, je pense que ça devrait t'indiquer que le paquet grub-pc n'est pas installé et donc qu'il ne peut pas être enlevé 

sudo apt-get remove grub-pc-bin

Pareil, ça devrait te dire que c'est impossible

sudo apt-get remove shim-signed

Là, il faut que cette commande de suppression de shim-signed aboutisse

sudo apt-get install grub-efi-amd64

Pareil, il faut que le résultat soit bon (que l'installation de grub-efi-amd64 soit possible ou bien que ça te dise que le paquet est déjà installé) 

sudo apt-get install shim-signed

ça devrait installer un nouveau paquet et le problème devrait être résolu

Désolé de ré-ouvrir ce post mais je me trouve devant une situation délicate.
Jusqu’à aujourd'hui tous fonctionné bien entre les deux systèmes.

J'ai du faire une mauvaise manip et windows a installé la maj 8.1 de win8.
Et a mon grand désespoir, je n'ai plus le choix dans le choix du système au démarrage.

Le souci est que j'ai perdu toute ma messagerie ainsi que 1 ou 2 logiciel important.
Il y a t-il une solution pour récupérer ou revenir en arrière ? Sinon je vais perdre beaucoup de chose importante et énormément de temps de travail.

Si c'est possible, je remercie par avance toute personne pouvant m'aider.
