Easynote et le WIFI !! (résolu)
Bonjour,
J'ai installé la 7.04 sur un portable Packard bell EASYNOTE R1800.
(installation prope sur dique neuf)
Tout fonctionne trés bien sauf le wifi.
Pas de problème si je met un stick USB mais l'antenne interne du pc n'est pas reconnu.
--> Atheros 5BMB5 Wireless network adapter driver
Quelqu'un aurait il une idée ?

salut salut j'ai le meme problème avec ma carte wifi !!!:( mais je vien de commencer dans l'informatique et je n'ai rien compris du topic de ton lien !! qqn pourrait tt m'expliquer en détails ??

Donne un peu plus de détail : matériel, OS d'installé, ce qui ne marche pas.

Et c exactement le meme problème !
La meme carte wifi qui n'est par reconnu!

Tu n'as pas précisé si tu as la 7.04 ,ou une autre version d'installé.
Si tu as la 7.04, le wifi est trés bien géré par NETWORK MANAGER. Mais il faut donner quelques paramètres au demarrage de la machine pour que cela ce passe bien.
Edit le menu.lst :
- ALT F2
- sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst (coche lancer dans un terminal)
- ajoute pnpbios=off acpi=force irqpoll
Cela devrait donner quelque chose du genre :
title Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.20-16-generic
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.20-16-generic root=UUID=........ pnpbios=off acpi=force irqpoll ro quiet splash locale=fr_FR
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.20-16-generic

Enregistre et redémarre le PC

Comment as-tu fait pour installer Ubuntu sur Packard Bell Easynote R1800, cat moi , il se bloque sur le message "Carte graphique non reconnue".
Quelle carte as-tu ?

Si tu essaye d'installer la 7.10 directement ça va pas coller.
Installes en premier la 7.04 qui reconnait bien le R1800. Ensuite tu lances la mise a jour de la 7.10
Autre solution, installe la 8.04 (pour l'instant elle est en alpha 3), mais tu la fera évoluer au fur et à mesure.
Le démarrage en live cd et l'installation se passera bien.
Tout fonctionne bien même le WIFI avec l'option de démarrage ACPI=FORCE
Ensuite remplace le contenu du XORG.CONF (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) par cela et redemarre.
Valable aussi si tu installes la 7.04
