[RÉSOLU] Pilote propriétaire NVIDIA fait buguer Unity

Bonjour,

Je viens de faire l'erreur d'installer sur mon Ubuntu fraîchement installé un des pilotes propriétaires NVIDIA proposés par l'utilitaire Jockey et, depuis, Unity refuse de se lancer : seul le fond d'écran s'affiche, j'entends Skype se lancer (puisqu'il produit un petit son lors de son lancement)... Et c'est tout : pas de lanceur, pas de tableau de bord, rien !

Étant donné que tout fonctionnait très bien avant l'installation de ce pilote, je le supprime en me disant que tout rentrera dans l'ordre, mais non. Actuellement, je ne peux plus utiliser Unity, seul LXDE (que j'ai pu installer via un terminal) fonctionne.

Quelqu'un aurait une idée de la manière dont je pourrais résoudre ce problème, de préférence sans réinstaller tout le système ?

J'ai eu un truc du genre il y a quelque mois. 
J'ai pu m'en tirer tout juste sans tout réinstaller, en recréant ma session:

J'avais juste perdu l'accès à une des sessions de ma machine.
Je crois que cela ne correspond pas à ta situation.

Sinon une sauvegarde + réinstallation devrait le faire oui.

Effectivement, je ne pense pas que cela corresponde à ma situation non plus hmm
En fait je crois que c'est plus un problème de pilote graphique : peut-être que je me trompe lourdement, mais à mon avis le pilote générique utilisé par Ubuntu a été supprimé et remplacé par celui que j'ai demandé sur Jockey, mais n'a pas été rétabli lors de la suppression dudit pilote...

Si c'est le cas, la question est : comment réinstaller le pilote générique ? ^^'

Salut,

Si tu dispose d'un affichage normal sous LXDE, il y a de forte chance pour que se soit le pilote libre qui soit utilisé.

L'installation du pilote proprio ne supprime pas le pilote libre.

Il faudrait nous dire comment tu as désinstallé le pilote nvidia.

Et nous donner le contenu des fichiers suivant après t'être loguer avec unity (utilise un TTY) :

sudo cat /var/log/lightdm/x-0-greeter.log
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Essaye également de te loguer en session invité avec unity pour voir si le problème n'est pas lié à l'utilisateur....

En fait j'ai utilisé l'interface de Jockey : j'ai tout bêtement cliqué sur le pilote NVIDIA, puis sur le bouton « Désactiver ».
Petite précision : Jockey n'était pas installé (je suis sous Ubuntu 12.10), je l'avais donc installé via APT-GET.

Je confirme également que le problème a bien lieu sur la session Invité comme sur ma session personnelle.

Tu es visiblement concerné par ceci :

Actuellement tu utilises le GPU intégré Intel.

L'activation du pilote nvidia à mis le bazar, dans un premier temps je supprimerai complètement tout les paquets nvidia ainsi que le fichier xorg.conf.

sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia*
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Puis tu redémarres.

Dans ta session unity, on va faire un reset, dans un terminal raccourci clavier alt+f2 puis tu tapes gnome-terminal :

dconf reset -f /org/compiz/ && setsid unity
