Bonjour
J'ai un HP pavillondm 1 et je souhaiterai installer ubuntu en dualboot avec W7.
Une fois booté sur Gparted, il m'apparait différentes partition:
/dev/sda1 en ntfs étiquette SYSTEM avec le drapeau boot
puis /dev/sda2 en ntfs, mais je n'ai aucune info sur lui, de plus un petit panneau 'danger' est affiché à côté et il m'est indiqué que:
"impossible de lire le contenu du système de fichiers. Pour cette raison, certaines opérations peuvent être indisponibles. La raison peut être l'absence d'un paquet logiciel.Voici la liste des paquets logiciels nécessaires pour la prise en charge du système de fichiers ntfs: ntfsprogs /ntfs-3g".
Du coup je ne peux manipuler /dev/sda2, alors que c'est précisément elle que je souhaite réduire pour faire de la place à ubuntu
Comment je peux faire du coup?

Ce serait bien que tu donnes le nom complet de ton modèle : "DM1" ce n'est pas suffisant parce qu'il y a plusieurs modèles qui correspondent à DM1 comme tu peux voir dans la Liste des portables « HP »
ce qui est rassurant, c'est que Ubuntu semble s'installer assez facilement dans cette famille d'ordis.
Comme d'habitude avec HP, je pense que tu butes sur le problème de maximum de quatre partitions primaires qui empêche d'en créer d'autres. La solution est indiquée dans ce paragraphe de la doc où tu peux lire en bas :
Astuce pour les PC HP Grand Public (ne convient pas aux PC HP Pro) préinstallés avec 4 partitions primaires :
On peut supprimer la partition HP_TOOLS pour pouvoir créer une partition étendue qui contiendra Ubuntu : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=4006736#p4006736
Ou bien conserver la partition HP_TOOLS mais supprimer la partition Recovery après avoir créé des DVD Recovery : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=12887991#p12887991
Comme indiqué dans le lien, tu constateras que la réduction de la taille de ta partition système de Windows 7 (ton disque C: suivant désigantion de Windows) doit se faire depuis Windows 7 lui-même et non pas depuis Gparted : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/repartitionner … _windows_8

Elle commence par des précautions à prendre que je t'invite à ne pas négliger, en particulier (si ce n'est pas déjà fait) la sauvegarde sur disque dur externe de tes doc précieux qui sont dans ton Windows 7.

Merci
Alors pour le modèle, je n'arrive pas à voir où est le nom du modèle plus précis =/
Pour la reduction sous W7 je ne peux réduire que de 5 Go en 5 Go, et je n'ai pu le faire que deux fois =/
Ensuite quand j'ai essayé de defragmanter via defrag C: -W l'invite de commande me dit que je n'ai pas les privilèges
Une fois fait tout ça, j'ai rééssayé via Gparted, mais a ne marche pas plus
Pour ce qui est de HP_tools j'était parti pour la supprimer, mais ça ne me fait pas gagner assez de place pour l'instant.
Mon disque C (/dev/sda2) fait 400 Go et j'aimerai bien récupérer 300 Go pour linux.
Du coup comment faire à partir de là? Y aurait-il d'autres soft sous W7 sinon pour réduire la taille la partition /dev/sda2?
Ou dois-je aquérir des privilèges supérieurs pour pouvoir réduire d'autant plus C? Et dans ce cas comment faire?

Supprimer une partition permet de pouvoir créer une partition étendue. Cela n'empêche pas de réduire la partition précédente et donc de disposer de plus de place que celle libérée par la partition supprimée.
PS : Parfois il est difficile de réduire une partition depuis Windows du fait de la présence de fichiers "indéplaçables". Pour s'affranchir de cette difficulté il faut désactiver la mémoire virtuelle et l'hibernation.

Sinon, est ce que si je supprime la partition de 400 Go, et que à la place:
-j'en créé une en Fat32 pour windows
-et une étendue avec tout linux dedans
Est ce que Windows reconnaitra cette nouvelle partition Fat32? Ou dois-je la mettre sous un autre format?

Oublie le FAT32 (obsolète) et préfère le ntfs (pour windows bien évidemment).
La partition étendue que tu destines à Linux n'est qu'un contenant qui devra contenir au moins deux partitions logiques (une en ext4 pour le système et l'autre en linux-swap pour la mémoire virtuelle - une autre partition en ext4 peut être utile pour y placer spécifiquement tes données Linux).

En fait, je viens de me rendre compte:
j'ai une partition
/dev/sda1 ntfs avec l'étiquette system et le drapeaux boot, le tout faisant 199 Mio
et à côté la partition de 400 Gio /devsda2.
Si je supprime la sda2, je supprime windows avec non? Parce que dans seulement 200Mo, y'a pas le système d'exploitation.
Et si je décide de supprimee le sda2 et que je réinstalle windows + linux, va pas y avoir un soucis avec sda1, pour le boot, un conflit entre Grub, et la partition sda1? Dois-je dans ce cas tout supprimer? Y'a t'il un moyen de faire une sauvegarde ré installable de mon windows? (avec tous les pilotes surtout^^)

La partition de 199 Mio est une partition de boot, partition dédiée à cet usage depuis Seven. La deuxième partition est la partition système de Windows.
Les deux partitions sont nécessaires au fonctionnement (dans le sens que si tu en supprime une, Windows sera KO) mais il est possible d'installer Windows sur une unique partition.

Il ne faut pas toucher à la partition sda1 à mon avis.
Compte-tenu que tu dis (dans le post #3) avoir des difficultés à réduire la taille de ton disque C: (c'est à dire ta partition sda2 selon la désignation du Boot-Info), je te suggère d'envisager de supprimer la partition sda3 (Recovery) après en avoir fait une sauvegarde comme expliqué par darkoel dans ce post : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p12887991
La suppression de cette partition Recovery libérerait 17 Go auxquels viendrait s’ajouter les quelques Go que tu as pu arracher au disque C: (avec la gestion des disques de Windows). Cette place libre serait suffisante pour installer Ubuntu.
Edit : Je te recommande de faire avant tout (si ce n'est pas déjà fait) une sauvegarde sur un disque dur externe des documents précieux pour toi qui peuvent se trouver dans cet ordi. En effet, toucher aux partitions est toujours dangereux et il convient de prendre ses précautions (c'est indiqué dans le paragraphe 1 de la doc déjà mentionnée dans le post #2)

Salut, tu peux aussi copier HP Tools sur une clé USB formatée en fat 32, et la recopier par la suite sur ton disque sur une petite partition en fat 32 crée pour la réinstallation et la nommer HP_TOOLS .
