Bonjour,

Sorry s'il s'agit d'une question trop triviale ... je me perd dans les reponses que je trouve sur internet

je voudrais ecrire un script qui fasse un grep sur deux mots dans un fichier source et qui en fonction du mots identifie fasse une action spécifique ...

en clair

grep word1 ou word 2 sur source.txt
si word1 alors action 1 (+ecrit resultat dans output.txt)

si word2 alors action 2 (+ecrit resultat dans le meme fichier output.txt)

grep -qw word1 fichier_source && action1 >>output.txt
grep -qw word2 fichier_source && action2 >>output.txt

Si on trouve word1 et word2, on fera action1 et action2.

tu as déjà fais le 3/4 de ton script

#!/bin/bash

word1=`cat source.txt | grep word1` 
word2=`cat source.txt | grep word2`
if [ "$word1" == "word1" ]
then
echo "le mot 1 est bien la" >> output.txt
fi
if [ "$word2" == "word2" ]
then
echo "le mot 2 est bien la" >> output.txt
fi

il y a sûrement plus court, mais dans l'ensemble ça fonctionne

Le grep retourne la ligne complète, et ton premier test ne sera vérifié que si word1 est le seul mot de la ligne, et en exemplaire unique dans le fichier source.txt.

et dans ce fichier je suis intéressé de récupérer ce qu'il y après l'expression
"genusspecies"><a name= (que je nommerai expression1)
par exemple "aminovorans"

pour faire ça j'ai écrit cette partie de code:

grep "\"genusspecies\"><a name=" ./methylobacterium.html | cut -c48-63 > strain-01.txt
awk -F\" '{print $2}' strain-01.txt > strain-02.txt

probablement horrible pour un informaticien mais ça marche

Le problème c'est qu'il y a des petites variantes du style
'genusspecies'><a name= (expression 2)

et donc ma question serait il possible de faire un script qui lorsqu'il trouve expression1 il cut entre 48 et 63
et expression 2 cut entre 62 et 77

et inscrive les résultats dans un fichier output.txt en conservant l'ordre d'apparition dans le fichier html ...

Avec ton exemple, est-ce ceci que tu veux récupérer ? Si c'est bon, tu peux rediriger le résultat de la commande sur output.txt.

$ sed -rn 's/.*<span class="genusspecies"><a name="([^"]+)".*/\1/p' methylobacterium.html
aminovorans
aquaticum
brachiatum

Mais ça peut ne pas marcher si tes lignes sont structurées différemment.

on dirait que c'est le cas hmm

c'est déjà plus puissant que ce que je faisais
mais ça ne semble pas marcher pour récupérer correctement les expressions 1 et 2

au sujet de python, je n'en doute pas mais malheureusement je connais encore moins ...

Dans ce cas, montre le résultat que tu souhaites, et le fichier .html si ce n'est pas le même.

C'est parce que la syntaxe  des lignes a changé : " " dans un cas, ' ' et rien dans l'autre
