@grostas: bonjour, essayez Boot-Repair --> Options avancees --> cochez "Sauvegarder et renommer les fichiers EFI Windows" --> Appliquer
Indiquez la nouvelle URL en cas de soucis.

Bonjour à tous,

En vacances à la Réunion (j'ai de la chance..., oui je sais!), j'ai décidé d'acheter un portable Pavilion équipé d'Ubuntu 12.04 LTS;
déçu par le manque de certains drivers, plus une VirtualBox déficiente, je décide d'installer un W$ 7 de dépannage et capable d'héberger CartoExplorer (randos obligent...)
Et paf, bien sûr, la MBR est touchée par la manip' et impossible de booter sur une Voyager 12.04 installée à la suite... .
J'ai essayé plusieurs manip' avec Boot Repair mais niet...!
D'autres options sont proposées mais j'ai peur de griller totalement la MBR et de plus avoir accès à W$....

Voici le fichier (j'ai essayé de retrouver le format d'origine, car W$ me l'a un peu "bordélisé..."):

fix boot

fix mbr

devrait te faire fonctionner le win

sinon il faut reparer grub et la tt est expliqué sur ce post

Non, j'ai d'abord installé W$, puis Linux.... (pas très orthodoxe comme méthode mais j'avais plus l'habitude d'utiliser W$...)
Merci pour le lien, mais j'avais déjà essayé Boot Repair, puis la manip' "chroot"... .
Par contre, lorsque je tape:

sudo os-prober

puis:

sudo update-grub

j'obtiens:

 /usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for / (dev is mounted?).

Et, ça me revient, toutes les manip' tappées dans le terminal (pour placer Grub dans un sdX) se finissait chaque fois
par cette question me demandant si le périphérique était monté.... (montage/démontage que j'initiais en fonction, dans l'utilitaire de disques...)

le boot repair tu l'a bien utilisé avec un live cd ou live usb ?
je l'ai fait plusieurs fois en ligne de commande et avec l utilitaire et a chaque fois je m'en suis sortie


dans le pire des cas si tu re install un ubuntu ou autre ca va re installer grub mais c plus de boulo

Non, je t'ai dit une connerie....; j'ai d'abord gardé ma partition Ubuntu (installée d'origine) et installé W$ à côté.
Comme j'avais à ce moment un problème avec le dual Boot, j'ai écrasé Ubuntu avec W$ et l'ancien W$ avec Voyager 12.04.... .

J'ai utilisé Boot Repair qui est dans le Live de Voyager (et même dans la Voyager fraîchement installée....)

J'aimerais être certain qu'en installant une Linux par dessus tout, ça me restaure la MBR... .
(sans perdre les fichiers NTFS...)

Oui, mais finalement je ne préfère pas trop... .
Ma Voyager 12.04 Live ne m'offre pas de connexion Internet et je n'arrive pas à installer le driver (téléchargé avec Windows, donc en .tar bz2)
Si je l'installe, je me retrouve bloqué... .
Donc, ce serait bien si quelqu'un pouvait trouver une petite soluce à mon problème... .

C'est le grub de la distribution installée sous /dev/sda5 que tu souhaites installer sur le MBR de /dev/sda ? si oui il faut démarrer en LiveCD/USB de la même version que celle installée, puis taper les commandes suivantes :

1) tu montes ta partition ubuntu / et tu y lies les répertoires /dev et /proc :
sudo  mount   /dev/sda5   /mnt 
sudo  mount  --bind  /dev  /mnt/dev
sudo  mount  --bind  /proc  /mnt/proc

2) tu "bascules" la partition root LiveCD sur celle de ton install :
sudo  chroot  /mnt

3) tu mets grub à jour (pour prendre en compte tout ce qui est présent) :
update-grub

5) tu (ré)installes Grub  sur le MBR
grub-install  /dev/sda


Tu peux essayer l'éditeur nano pour remplacer gedit

Mais, au reboot, je tombe à nouveau sur W$... .
J'ai recommencé, en changeant le flag dans GParted et même résultat.

Il semblerait que le MBR soit automatiquement restauré avec le bootloader  windows lorsque tu bootes ton pc.
As-tu eu un message bizzare lors de la commande :
grub-install  /dev/sda
Peux-tu vérifier dans le bios si tu n'as pas une option de protection du secteur de boot?
Sinon il est possible d'utiliser le bootloader Seven pour lancer grub.

Voici comment faire :
En LIveCD/USB tu tapes les commandes :

sudo  mount  /dev/sda5  /mnt
sudo  mount  --bind  /dev  /mnt/dev
sudo  mount  --bind  /proc  /mnt/proc

tu "bascules" la partition root LiveCD sur celle de ton install.
sudo  chroot  /mnt

Tu installes grub sur la partition / de ton disque
grub-install  --force /dev/sda5

Ensuite tu installes EasyBcd et tu vas chercher le bootloader grub sur /dev/sda5

Après ta dernière question, j'ai tout retapé et, en effet, il y a un petit message bizarre après "update-grub":

J'ai installé EasyBCD, mais comme c'est la première fois que je l'utilise, je préfère te demander avant de faire une connerie... .
Dans la section "Editer le menu de démarrage", on ne trouve que W$ 7...
Par contre, dans "Déployer la BCD", je peux désigner ma partition Linux et ainsi "installer la BCD"...
C'est bien cette dernière option que je dois prendre?

Il y a bien cette fonction dont je parlais...; je peux sélectionner ma partition "Partition 3 (Linux-364Gio)", mais lorsque je
clique sur "installer la BCD", j'ai un message d'erreur m'indiquant que "La partition de démarrage doit être une partition primaire",
me conseille de changer de disque ou de convertir ma partition en primaire... .
Ça te dit quelque chose?

Non il doit y avoir une option qui permet d'ajouter un système au menu de démarrage. Ce que tu tentes là c'est de créer un nouvel environnement de démarrage. Ce qu'il ne faut pas faire bien entendu.
